God, I'm so excited for this movie. Loving the emphasis on characters and the dichotomy of personalities over "Michael Bay-esque" idiocy. Plus, Robert Downey Jr. is always fun to watch, except for when he's in a light-hearted drama with Robert Duvall where he may or may not have slept with his daughter.

There was a lot of movie ranking last night. I already did a Top 25 Movies Of 2014 list on my website, and for you dear CZ comrades, I have compiled that list below. I do have one particular film above all others from last year, but the rest of my top 25 are in alphabetical order.

Interesting article about the lack of momentum among Academy members about Boyhood:

She's so rich, she has a swimming pool in her swimming pool!

I didn't care for Birdman myself (I felt the story was too scattered, it's ideas felt poorly presented and man was its pacing lackluster) but I'll be damned if Emanuel Lubezki's work here wasn't terrific. I do freely admit though that I'd rather this award have gone to Lubezki's other, Infinitley superior 2014 film, Th

Hopefully in the middle of the show, Josh Brolin just bangs a door down.

It's actually doing pretty well at the box office, which means a sequel is likely inevitable. I don't mind that at all though; this seems like a world ripe for future installments.

The dynamic between Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde-Pierce here really is phenomenal. Both show such personality and effectivness even in the most mundane exchanges.

DEPRESSING FACT TIME

In honor of Valentines Day, I rewatched Her last night. God, what an incredible movie, so full of subtlety and beauty. Scarlett Johansson is so, so perfect as Samantha.

Believe it or not, I actually liked the critic scene, felt it was one of the best scenes of the movie!

In honor of Valentine's Day, I'm about to rewatch one of my favorite movies ever: Her.

Now let's get her into Captain America: Civil War and I'll be happy as a lark.

Yeah, I was in a similar boat. I knew they showed American politicians bunkering down, but I didn't know REDACTED was part of the scene until I read about it in an interview with Matthew Vaughn this morning.

Just a quick thought on Kingsman: The Secret Service: that movie is a lot of fun, but my God is the ending awful. I didn't read the spoiler space prior to seeing it since I wanted to avoid spoilers before seeing the feature (I did just read it now though), but I did hear negative comments about the films ending before

Hey you! I saw Kingsman: The Secret Service last night and, hey! I really thought it was pretty good! Check out my review if you wanna hear my further thoughts!

Oh my God, those Ant-Man sets are awesome. Lego Paul Rudd has far surpassed my expectations!

About to watch Kingsman: The Secret Service! I shall return later with my thoughts on the feature!

God bless Guillermo Del Toro.

DONT MIND IF THEY DO
