I love the bow and arrow oh-so-casually placed in the corner. It is as though La Palin had just come in from some bow hunting in the Great White North, put down the bow, saw the camera, and decided to give us all some useless commentary.

This is the best gif, of all of the gifs.

I would start with the first season of the recent reboot. The older stuff is touch-and-go, and I find it easier to get people started with the more recent stuff. It is more cohesive, if that makes sense. If you are watching on Netflix, then, you would want to start with what they call Season 1, dated 2005. The other

Honestly, if I were the president of a country in a region in which the United States had a long history of training and equipping assassins, manipulating politics and the economy, and replacing popularly-elected officials with U.S.-friendly patsies, I can't say that I wouldn't become invested in conspiracies, too.

... and when they die, those teen Jezebels have no chance of getting into heaven. Only girls who have pledged their virginity to their fathers get into heaven.

Yes! And the really annoying thing during this episode was the very obvious bit they put in about her only being a sophmore. They are totally going to have her transfer to McKinley once Rachel graduates.

Except that domestic violence isn't about aggression. It is about power and control.

Regarding your first paragraph, you might have addressed this in one of your many other comments on this story, but you did not clearly make this distinction in this thread. In this thread, you said that DV wasn't as strictly gendered as people believed, and then separated out two kinds of violence, never mentioning

You have not properly defined your terms. Domestic violence is not any violence which occurs in a domestic setting between intimate partners. Domestic violence is systematic coercive control over an intimate partner. "Common, non-serious, couple violence" as you describe it is not domestic violence. Systematic,

Which sketch? I think I must have missed that week.

So do I! Honestly, I love Sherlock Holmes, but it is always Watson who brings it home for me. I have a thing for dutiful, loyal, intelligent men.

I know it means that we got a shorter show, but I always like when we get to watch everyone hug. It gives me the warm and fuzzies.

I appreciate both of their interpretations - I think they both focus on different sides of Holmes. I think Cumberpatch gets the brilliance and otherworldliness of Holmes, but I think he misses the mark on his charm. I think RDJ is all slick charm, with less moody brilliance.

I'm assuming that they're just saving Stefon for closer to Christmas. Frankly, I think it is time for Stefon to break out of Weekend Update and into a sketch.

Hot damn, well-fitted jeans + well-fitted t-shirt + well-played guitar = Tesa in her bunk.

So excited for Sherlock Holmes. I wish it meant that we'd get RDJ as a host, but it appears that Katy Perry and Jimmy Fallon are the next two hosts. Though Michael Bublé is the musical guest on the 17th, so there is hope that John Hamm will show up for a new Hamm and Bublé advertizement.

I am with you. I particularly hate that the girlfriend is starting to say, "I feel like..." when he checks the phone.

If there is no advice from Stefon within the next two weeks, SNL will be on my List. You don't want to be on the List.

Wendy's fries are FANTASTIC.
