@Alibelle: Put me down for the "tough love" side. I find that a lack of money is so stressful as to not justify a non-necessary purchase.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I know the offsides rule, the infield fly rule, the icing rule, and the intentional grounding rule. And that's just the beginning of the list.

If he'd just put his clothes out on the dresser the night before work...

@Spaceboy: Yeah - and they run in packs on the Schuylkill.

@cjlaw73: Actually, I am pretty sure that while he is taking the video, he is calling for emergency services. If you listen to the audio, he is silent while they ask questions, and then he is saying things like where he is located and how many accidents have happened. That's probably safer than being a pedestrian

@flaky: Technically, priests take their vows to the Church (which is usually referred to in the feminine), and nuns take their vows to Christ.

@Almost Like Loving: Yes, I agree. The full piece written by Schewel is much more logically sound than the short version in this article.

I just hope that someone can confirm the Apocalypse in enough time for me to un-quit smoking.

@PaintedTrollop: She just couldn't stand all the needling from her parents.

It seems to me that this woman wanted an apartment and waitstaff that she could not otherwise afford, so she decided to take on children for a week at a time to pay for it.

All sports records are bullshit. Records exist across time, and time changes any number of variables for which a simple statistic like "number of games won in a row" cannot account. The skill of opponents, the number of games in a season, the treatment of injuries, the rules, the technology, etc., all change with
