Want to write for Kotaku? Have a great idea for an investigative story, an analysis of a game, a historical piece, or some totally wacky idea that only you can write? Pitch me, your friendly local Features Editor, at pitches@kotaku.com.
Michael, I stan your writing on most days, but I’m gonna need you to be a bit more cutthroat today because these bot-ass commentors aren’t butt hurt enough today to make sense. All this factual news reporting, telling facts and stuff is making them feel......safe.
No, your friend can play digitally. Everytime you use a new physical ship, you unlock a digital duplicate in-game. Your coop partner can play digitally while you play physically. You don’t need a second mount, you don’t even need a second ship.
So, wait--in order to play local co-op, you need to buy a peripheral that isn’t available at launch, and potentially requires a second pair of joy-cons in the Switch version?
Aw yesss. Me and the other 5 people that love Yokai Watch will be satiated. Though, I just want the Switch one now...
Anyway, after watching it I signed up for an asexual dating site. Asexuals seeking relationships: what do they know? Do they know things? Let’s find out.
Apologies. The internet is a wild place and stressful place for a games journo. Easy to assume the negative, y’know?
Thanks for the fuller picture. Wasn’t even ragging on your article. I just wanted to point out how OP’s comment was ill-informed.
I also covered Shadow of Valentia and really like it, as well as wrote an entire post about how Awakening was one of the most magical and heroic games I played in a long time. But sure, rag on the on the one Bride piece I guess. Because... uh, reasons?
To the point though, I think that Fire Emblem manages the tone…
I felt this article deep in my bones. I’m 35, have a master’s degree, and have a pretty decent resume. I do social justice education, and the work is incredibly satisfying (and at times infuriating, but I knew what I was getting into), but the money just isn’t there. I’m working on getting a side-hustle because I have…
Hollow Knight is finally out for Nintendo Switch, which means a lot more people are playing it than when it hit PC…
In God of War, being a mother will end your life, either literally or metaphorically.
People are complaining about all these ports, but I don’t see the problem when many are ports of games that were exclusive to an unpopular dead console, or were exclusive to other consoles. This is awesome.
I came here expecting a post talking about how it didn’t work properly, but ended up reading something much more important.
I feel there is a certain irony in your ad hominem rhetoric and weird strawmen given your obvious dislike of Trump. I’d agree not every game needs a switch port, and it has some technical short comings that make it largely unfit to port some of the more recent triple A titles. I am unsure why you feel the need to spew…
You realize the beta was dumbed down so that people who had never played the game could succeed right? Just like every other video game, the ai ramps up and the difficulty increases as you progress.
Trump gets owned harder and more often by Khans than the Starship Enterprise.
Stingy American Airlines won't let you in the Admiral's club unless you pay $300-$500/year. And I think most of the food inside costs additional money. I was Executive Platinum for 2 years, flew first class all the time, and they still never let me in.
Try that with any U.S. airline and eat for $250/day.
