Eh, wouldn’t be much of a point anyways.
Oh sweet mercy.
Yeah, I know, but you get what I mean right? I also mentioned the game, which doesn’t work that well for something like Twitch plays.
Yeah, I know it isn’t really sci-fi, I was just saying an idea for a game that I would like. Also, I know what Cyberpunk is, but it’s not what I’m looking for. I mean dirty sci-fi like this:
I put Earthbound because it would be easier to control through Twitch. It’s why Pokemon worked.
Does this look like a man/game meant to be controlled in this way?
Also I like how this universe is beautiful yet deadly. Just my 2 bits that you didn’t ask for.
Nope, false. You aren’t really supposed to set up shop on any one planet.
Just think of it as an arcadey comic book-like space sim. with a focus on exploring.
You know, they’ve already explained a lot about the game. It’s all here if anyone wants:
I don’t see why a story that doesn’t give an end can’t be done right. In writing, just about anything can be done right if it’s handled correctly. The ending is one part of the whole story, and if the rest is handled in a way so that the lack of ending isn’t really bad, then why not?
In my defense, french class was boring.
The animation was amazing but the story suffered from the movie trying to condense the huge story of the Akira manga.
Hey, if anyone’s interested in these types of games, there’s also this game if you’d like.
It can be good or bad depending on how it’s handled. That’s true for all writing of course.
Depends on how it’s handled.
So, you want to make it a horror game with frantic FPS gameplay too? F.E.A.R. did that, do you know what was the result? A game that wasn’t scary. Putting in tons of (poorly written) exposition doesn’t help the atmosphere either.
It’s not being cheated, it’s just realistic. Like I said, you don’t always get the answers you want. Sometimes that means no answers.
