Hey I live in Denver! I need to get out more I haven't seen any of these on the roads.

The pic looks like a Beetle's stick shift - and yes the car that so many misguided souls refer to as a "Chick Car" still comes with a stick. (as I cower in shame due to the fact that my 2012 turbo Beetle has a DSG and originally it was for my wife!)

That paves the way for Obama and his secret partners at the Dutch Lego Conglomoration to convince honest Americans, via the National Council of Churches (a front organization run by the Peat Moss lobby) to start ingesting large quantities of frozen yogurt which, when combined with subdermal interfaces found in all

It would really fun to buy one without a double spoiler out back just to mess with the kids! Yeah but we won't be able to do that will we Honda. Thanks Honda, thanks for killing fun.

Separation of Church and State. Word.

Too soon?

New compared to old

Yes, yes and YES! I really wish they would at least give us an AWD Bettle R. I love my '12 Beetle Turbo but if it had 50 more hp and AWD it would be juuuussst right. This rally crosser will give the Beetle some good exposure.

You can use any one of them Andrew! (of course just let me know and give me props)

When we moved to Oahu some 10 years ago I noticed a lot of abandoned cars up on the North Shore. We would see a car off the side of the road and come back some 3 weeks later it would still be there rotting away. Most are stolen and ditched - some are just abandoned. Basically if it isn't a hot tourist destination it

When the first Gen Coupe came out there wasn't really any other cheap RWD coupes out there (yeah, I know, Miata - I can't fit in a Miata but I did fit in the Gen Coupe). Thankfully the BRz came out and Hyundai has to step it up. I had a first generation Gen Coupe with the 2.0T. It wasn't super but I could get sideways

I would totally trade my '12 Turbo Beetle for a R version. 50 more hp and AWD would be a nice upgrade.

I thought it was the R/T at first and then I would disagree. I had a Sport Coupe (came out before the R/T). Fun car. Handled pretty good and 150hp at the time was decent for a little car. Best thing about was it was a lease so I gave it back after 2yrs before it blew up on me.

Saw this monstrosity driving down the road in Broomfield, Colorado.

I'd buy that for a dollar! Seriously though I really hope this goes good. It's a good looking truck that is "just right" in size. Build it well and give us some good engine choices and we got a winner.

Maybe even create a special "Luv" edition?!

I love my Man Bug!!! I have a 2012 Turbo. The only real problem I have with it is there is not button to turn off the traction control. (There are aftermarket solutions though) Mine has nav, sunroof, and a Fender sound system. I even fit my 29er mtn bike in the trunk — both wheels off of course. I love how it is has a

My pants are tight. Love the sound.

I had heard that in Germany it is now mandatory to have undefeatable ESC on all the cars. Not sure if it is true. I do know my 2012 Turbo Beetle would smoke the fronts quite a lot if it wasn't for that damn ESC. You can also turn it off by rocking the car when you get stuck in the snow. The owners manual says that

I was stationed there in the Army — I remember it being pretty normal to be driving down a country lane and come over a hill to find a bus passing another bus. We got a medal if we could drive 10,000 miles without a wreck - few did.
