The matte black hoods came about in motorsports to help visibility by reducing glare off of a nice shiny hood. So there was a pracitcal reason for it back when you could still see your cars hood from the driver’s seat.

$59.5k? CP. I was thinking it would be something to contemplate at $7500. I may have no inkling of the value of vintage Ferraris.
You’re right, neither the VW or Ford have overwhelming and horrendous torque steer. Someone needs to cover that.
I think between the Golf R and this, every hot hatch lover is covered. The Golf R is more understated and livable on a daily basis with it’s adjustable suspension and optional DSG (also nicer interior). The Focus RS is for someone who wants something a little rougher, but doesn’t hate themselves enough to buy a STI.
This is exactly how you treat a customer who wants to talk shit about you. I work in both customer service and IT. And if someone wants to act like a baby, you tell them to have a good day and go bother someone else.
It’s very frustrating when something you’re trying to purchase is taking longer than you expect and this is a $130k product that’s years later than promised.
Man, come on - weak argument against the E9x. By that argument, the M5 hasn’t been worthy of the M5 badge since the E34, and the E30 is two cylinders shy of being a real M3 - and we all know that’s bologna. Whats so significant about 6 cylinders? Hell, even BMW M disagrees with you, considering they designed the…
Anyone else irritated that this post fails to acknowledge the neutered 240ish horsepower turd of an E36 that was sold here in the States?
In other news, the 993 is the last good Porsche, there's no replacement for displacement, corvettes aren't real sports cars because leaf spring, and (insert other stupid car opinion here).
He’s using media to promote policies. It’s smart. It’s bringing the policy discourse to people who might not be engaged.
Noted. Don’t click on political articles in the future. Everybody wins.
“It looks totally like a red Honda Accord Coupé if the Honda Accord Coupé were a grey four-door Volvo”.
Lol. I don’t think it’s a giant vent. I think it’s type of wood design....think Yachting Mahogany on a Panamera.
FWD? The A4 is AWD. Yes, they do make a FWD model but those are extremely rare. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a FWD A4 or A6 ever.
Who really cares about the base model Audi? Does anyone lust after an A4?
See, here's something that people who weren't alive or terribly conscious in the early 1990's don't get about this car. For its day, the Virage/Vantage had that certain indefinable feel and look of special-ness. It just looked like a $200k+ car. It wasn't shouty like a Lamborghini, McLaren, or XJ220. It wasn't sexy…
