I am in the bang regrowth phase, also known as the most painful and awkward phase. Most of them are growing in quite nicely but there is ONE tiny chunk of hair right in the middle of my head that seemingly won’t grow. Every day is a struggle. DON’T DO IT!!!!!

Hmm...read elsewhere that Selena did not really chop off her hair...now I just don’t know...my whole Weekend is ruined.

Getting my hair cut always gives me anxiety. I had a really bad experience when I was in junior high. It lead to me making a beeline in the salon bathroom so I could cry in private, which according to several people on Jez who work in salons is the reaction from clients that they dread the most.

Related: My hair is past my tits, and I’m getting it chopped off on Tuesday to above my shoulders. I AM SO EXCITED. I also get it cut about once-twice a year, so I have NO idea what to ask for. I’m pregnant and have a toddler so I need something that my fine sort-of wavy sort-of straight hair can handle without any…

But so so slowly.

Thank you for this. My hair is down to my butt and I have been thinking of doing a pixie. But do I just want to do it for the shock factor? That feeling when you look in the mirror and barely recognize yourself and really like it? I live for that.

Sure, but it’s not a decision that really has any finality. Hair grows back. Always. It grows (unless you have a specific condition, such as alopecia, etc.). It’s not like, say, chopping off a limb.

I don’t even know how to process this post. Though, yesterday I did consider chopping 12 inches off my hair.

I shaved my head back in 2013 on a manic bender. Smd celebs, you’re like 4 years behind. 💁
