If I had this and an F40 in my garage, I would never leave the house because I wouldn't be able to choose which car to drive.

Ya. Just saying that most of the people that lease want a car they can't afford and most dealershits they try and shove thousands in fees on top.
It isn't hard if you use a laptop bag. Easier now with people carrying around ipads and the like. It works better with smaller priced cars. Its how I got a brand new optioned out mustang for $18k I paid 10 of it on the spot in cash. The rest I went to my car to get the remainder. That was no trade in ether. …
I absolutely agree, this is just a small gas station in a small town. Best case scenario, the residents save a couple of hundred bucks a year. Worst case, they get a new mayor, and have to make do with a smaller beauty pageant, or whatever they spend money on. Cheers
Here is the problem these schemes usually run into, especially once they start scaling up.
I've had 10 neons so far
I don't like the car either, but it's a great vehicle for the hip replacement generation.
Honda CR-V... At least, as far as my retired father is concerned.
If this lackluster Excelmanship is any indication, this is a man who lacks passion.
If Porsche can maintain its unique identity under the VW umbrella, I don't really care. But if in 20 years they are like SEAT or Skoda or Audi, and all just look like VWs with different headlight/grills, then I will be disappointed.
The real problem is that people expect there to be a large market for this. The purpose of this car is to exist in small numbers for the small number of moneyed people who've seen pictures of it and said "I want that!" Those people need only the most basic technical competency and not-a-dickness from their dealership…
A lot of people are comparing this to a Tesla or a Prius, but I don't think that's quite right - if you look through the emotional lens a lot of people apply to their buying decision.
Disagree, it's the price. It starts at the same price as:
Dealerships have no idea how to sell this thing. They can't explain the technology and they don't know who its buyers are. The real problem is that it should have never been a coupe.
That's like saying, "why buy a Zamboni when I can but a Cessna?"
Well before buyers had absolutely NO reason to choose this over a Model S. Now they have one reason....so really it's for people who can't afford the Tesla.
Yes, people piloting jacked-up full ton pickups with modded exhaust to belch black smoke are always the arbiters of highways safety and manners.
I actually really like diesel trucks but D Bags have killed it for the rest of it.....dude your straight pipes dont sound good. It sounds like the dryer vent on my house and no panties have ever dropped from your "rolling coal". do as Bill Burr says and just walk into the ocean for us.
