I’ve heard concerns about the Switch version. Out of curiousity, which version did you play, Ethan? I didn’t see it mentioned in the article.

This one is way more interesting to me than the previous ones, but I would have to assume it will begin to break down pretty quickly with all of those moving parts. Or does someone know something I don’t?
‘94. I’m an old man. lol.
Well, hello, neighbor. I graduated from HHS, but I am in Shepherdstown now.
I live just outside Martinsburg. You can find used stimpacks in the park and parking lots all the time.
I live in Shepherdstown and it’s very much like stepping back in time...but with hippies everywhere. And some beautiful views. I love it.
I am so thankful they put “Newcomer” mode in there. I just don’t have the time to get as good at games as I did 30 years ago. That platforming still looks pretty brutal, though.
I bought one and I’ve got to say that it’s a pain in the ass to flash nowadays. If anyone has a link for “Flashing for Dummies” I’d gladly try again. I hate it as is. It won’t even let me use the external storage on it without flashing.

I didn’t mean to sound as if I was wanting them to kill it off. I was only speaking for myself, personally. I still love the 3ds. It’s just that a remaster on the Switch would make me giggle with joy.
Awww. I was hoping for a Switch remaster. No need for a 3ds anymore, really.
Not me. When invited, I tell them straight out that I love them but I already see the people I work with more than my family. If I like them and they know me well, I’ll actually state “I see you fuckers too much already”. I’m in a small store of about 20 people so I don’t really need to go out of my way to get face…
How would you not consider Nintendo as being gimmicky until DS? I’d say that history goes all the way back to the Power Glove followed by the Virtual Boy.
Bowser sucks, honestly. I bought all the separate tokens in one shot at Walmart. Boo and Tanooki Mario are probably the most powerful.

Anyone thinking of getting Monopoly Gamer should do it. It’s a great new take on Monopoly. The game goes much faster than the old rules allow for. I’d go for the Deluxe edition if possible, though, if only for the plastic coins over cardboard ones.

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realm (I have no idea why I keep letting myself get sucked into clicker games) and Everybody’s Golf.
Bought it yesterday with no regrets. Between Knack 2 and Everybody’s Golf, I’m all set for a while.
I played pretty much a day and a half to open the second course and fishing. The pacing to open new stuff does seem a bit slow.
As someone who was working at a store that sold U’s at the time I can say that the Wii U failed also because of the name. The original Wii attracted an audience that didn’t normally play games very much, and when the U came out they were confused. Most people didn’t even realize it was a different system. Marketing…
That’s what I was sitting here thinking while I watched. My girl gets a kick out of fishing games, and with today’s graphics I’ve wondered for years why no company has really bothered making a huge and beautiful fishing game. It’s probably a bad investment for how much time would be invested, I suppose. I’d still…
One thing about E.T., though, is that pretty much everybody bought it. Plus at that time, you never really got rid of any of your games. I would assume the sheer number of them out there has everything to do with their price.
