I think at this point, most Doctor Who fans would be okay with a Doctor who was black, or a woman. If you really wanted to make them lose their minds, cast an American Doctor.

Another thing is that Dope was really well produced, on a very low budget and an incredibly tight schedule — there are films with ten time the budget that aren’t as slick and tight.

Dope is a movie that does a great job of blending genres and providing a very uplifting feeling that you’d also expect from a superhero movie.
