As someone approaching 40 who was a beast in our dorm-wide Quake and Duke Nukem 3D games 20 years ago, I have to agree. In addition to the obvious TF2 comparisons, something about OW reminds me of the glory days of UnrealTournament. Probably my most-regrettable attempts to master precision based play in recent years

That is some brutal fainting going on.

With the power of the U.S. and growing Chinese film markets, mixing actors from both countries (to make a film designed to play well with both audiences) will continue to become more common. The new paradigm is about having a mixed American and Chinese cast, and less about “whitening” a foreign film.

Is this 4 player couch co-op? If so, how is the couch co-op?

I’m going to expand on this. Pick 1 character for each role (4 characters total) to start. That way you can play to your team’s composition deficits.

I’ve never touched competitive and enjoy the game immensely. The casual community is robust and almost always polite. Besides, you need to hit level 25 to compete, so you will be up to speed before rankings even come into play.

No one ever grows up. We just get better at faking it. The older I get without fucking it all up, the less I emphasize with younger people who do. That’s kinda ugly to feel, but only the victim here is relatable. Think of the most tragic backstory possible. Even at age 16, it doesn’t mean shit if “murder a stranger”

Perhaps they should be asking for Wild Arms 6. After all, Sony still is in the video game business.

It’s not a game with multiplayer interaction, so your experience won’t be affected.

I’d agree that this is a pretty passionate fan base. I think this is going to one of those games that is truly something unique, maybe a touchstone on the order WoW or Minecraft. Most people don’t send death threats. Weirdos and criminals are part of the landscape. Just remember they are the exception not the norm,

Aimless wandering and troublemaking is IMHO the best part of GTA and many MMOs. I imagine this will do a good job of tapping into that fun, especially for the initial binge playing. The replay value is harder to predict.

I feel like studios will catch up with audiences on casting when they realise the question is “Is it set in Japan?"

Jeez. Is this what cosplay is like these days? 20 years ago I did some anime con cosplay. There were skits and costume contests. It was just attendees dressing up for fun. A friend got their picture in Animerica and that was the high point. With the caliber of fan cosplay, I can’t imagine why a con would need to hire

I was somewhat active on the Mario Maker subreddit, including putting together a smb3“world” project (a large numbered and cohesive series of levels). Nintendo deleted a level that I had worked hard on right out of the middle of the sequence soon after it went up. And it killed my enthusiasm for the project.

Social services is easy pickings. As a public servant who takes similar calls, a call like this doesn’t even sound odd. I actively engage with people with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. This is a cake walk compared an actual call with a paranoid schizophrenic who is off their medications and actively

With the main world of Azeroth revamped in Cataclysm, it’s the level 60-70 areas in Outland that are the least polished, dating back to the first expansion, Burning Crusade. You may notice a sudden drop in gimmick-based quests, lackluster quest rewards, and more decentralized quest chain layouts that require more
