Nah, that was Entertainment 720. Clearly this amateur outfit wasn’t even willing to go around the world once for their client.

Usually it’s the lede that gets dropped, not the Lede doing the dropping.

Jesus Christ, that film was so uncomfortable. It’s definitely a “yell at the characters for being fucking idiots” type of horror movie. I actually had to turn it off at the end, I couldn’t take anymore. Gotta be in the right headspace for that kind of shit. (To be clear, a very good movie though and very well made,

HBO is changing its streaming service’s name to Max. By the time the episodes air it will be aired on Max, but right now it’s HBO and not Max that can comment.

And it turns out that Aegyn the Blind was named that because during his reign, it was continuous night for 30 years. It wasn’t that he was blind, it’s that it was too dark to see.

“My vision of it was that if I didn’t have some major exposure by the time I was twenty-nine years old, it was over”

The LaGuardia High School that Paulson graduated from is better known as the La Guardia High School of the Performing Arts. The school they based the film (and syndicated series) Fame from.

I hear they’ve been working hard to drain even more color out of the show this season.

My mom has no clue what’s going on in any of these movies but she likes to go see them for the action and funny bits.  Extensive knowledge of backstory is in no way necessary to enjoy them.

lmao great plot hook, that’s really interesting. They keep switching places.

Zero complaints here. The original Captain Marvel was just sorta OK, but WandaVision and Ms. Marvel are among the better Disney+ shows, and I love the gimmick of their powers being inextricably linked and causing all sorts of mayhem.

You can already tell Iman Vellani is going to steal the show. I’m also looking forward to the (flock?) of flerkens.

Sadly the original musical version of Richard III is lost to history. 46 songs, all of them about what a fucking asshole Richard is.

For soothe!

“It’s been a minute” is usage that implies a longer time period, though, too. Idioms are fun.

Historically speaking, the concept of the theater audience being silent non-participants in the play is relatively new. Who among us has not read the rousing accounts of barely literate Englishmen singing along to "" I Shalt Always Love Thou" during performances at the Globe Theater?

“I definitely did not have the support that I did the first season,” Shahi said.

The culture asked for it. No one in particular in most of these cases, no. But companies have seen too many tempests in the Twitter teapot and now employ certain people whose job it is simply to avoid fiascos. (Never mind that these “sensitivity edits” result in their own, different fiascos. The way things are going

This the right take - who on earth is asking for this?
