1st: My fear is that other automakers will copy Tesla instead of giving people things Tesla doesn’t. 

4th: Good on the gov’t to appeal the mask-mandate political ruling from a Trump-appointed judge. The gov’t should have all the tools necessary to promote the general welfare, which IMO includes public health measures such as COVID or monkeypox or any other contagious ailment.

A couple years ago, after years of just getting whichever wire stripper was cheapest, I spent a couple extra bucks on the Irwins.  Still nothing fancy, but a night and day difference to use.

The real hurdle for these aftermarket HU mfrs will be getting their systems to play nice with auto mfrs modern systems that are heavily integrated into vehicle settings (like changing your doors’ locking behavior).
