Why?

Cheap and safe. Next.

Supercruise also seems to be the only competitive offering to Autopilot. Though more limited in features, GM doesn’t recklessly overpromote it as ‘autonomous’ like Tesla does.

Revenue isn’t a measure of how much money a company brings in. It’s actually a measure of how much it spends.

It just doesn’t have all the stuff that car companies think you want, like, uh, any kind of center console. Frivolous.

We love to hate on GM, but they’re second only to Tesla in battery and autonomous driving tech. Hate on the dopey Bolt all you want, but 260 miles of range on a car that regularly retails for under $30k (actual retail prices - not the over inflated MSRP) is an extremely impressive feat.

They might’ve intended the boat to be past the jump, so the car was over the highest part of its rooster tail

He gets bonus points for attempting a dangerous stunt during the unluckiest year ever. Glad all went well.

I want to say I did an inflation adjustment on a new 172 in early 60's and in todays money it worked out to be just south of $80K - not insignificant, but not huge money, either. Now, I think they’re north of $300K. That’s a lot for avionics and fuel injection.

That’s chicken or the egg first. Why upgrade the grid if electric cars aren’t being used on a large scale. In reality you need to do both, concurrently.

Nowadays, that $25K will get you into a pretty decent C5 Z06.  It may not have a V12 under the bonnet, but it will soundly thrash this 850Ci in the 0-60 sprint and be considerably cheaper to fix should anything go wrong.  OTOH, it does come with a typical GM Interior by Fisher-Price.... but you might be okay with that

For years, I’d been a 36x32. But now that I’ve been dropping some weight, I’ve switched to a 34 waist, and none of my jeans fit well anymore. 34x32's seem to sit weird.

Or electric with hot-swappable batteries.

I want bikes this size with 250s!

The only way I can afford to fly these days is by knowing a few guys with airplanes. I’ve had my flight instructor cert for almost 20 years now, so I fly with them when they need a flight review or just another pilot in the right seat. In return I can use the plane on occasion and just pay for the gas.

As someone who enjoys expensive hobbies, I looked into buying a plane one time.

Take the friends having babies out of the equation. You will find they will start hanging out with other couples with kids. They have no single friends other than the ones they are trying to fix you up with.
