Honestly, I don’t even think this is pointless. Touchpoints in a car are hugely important to my perception of it. I maintain that one of the best upgrades you can do to an older car is to put a wheelskin on the steering wheel. Replacing a crappy, worn out rubber wheel with nice leather instantly makes a car feel more

I just found a use for both my 3d printer and the weights that came with my fancy gaming mouse...

It looks like a Mach E knocked up a Rav 4 and it was a...difficult...birth.

    Ah, that probably makes sense.

This is because research found that using handheld devices “has a marked impact on the time drivers take to respond to transition demands,” if they are asked to take control of the self-driving car once again.

I think you mean Prevost, which would probably be a good comparison to this.

I don’t want either one of them anywhere near my favorite nostalgia properties. Transformers, TMNT, Star Trek, and Star Wars all turned into dumpster fires under their care. Some of those even had better movies made by other people later on, but the franchises were so tainted by then that it couldn’t save them.

Buying a dead blow hammer was a revelation. I use it all the time now.

That’s why I included the “without modification” qualifier. Worst case scenario you can probably replace the whole head unit with one that has bluetooth and an aux port, but anything that requires pulling the radio is a lot more of a pain than just using a cassette adapter.

I suspect it’s unsafe at any speed (with apologies to Ralph Nader). ;-)

I agree with you, but they made it abundantly clear back when people were complaining about this with F1 results that they were not going to stop. I believe their suggestions was “don’t visit the site if you haven’t watched the race”. Which seems like a weird thing to tell your readers, but I guess they get enough

I’ve seen a few wrenching videos where someone does something flat out wrong too, which I wouldn’t have realized if I hadn’t watched another one.

I have a hole in my garage drywall that agrees with you... ;-)

I have some nitrile coated knit gloves that I use for a lot of wrenching. They’re still thicker than plain nitrile, but I can wear them indefinitely without a waterfall of sweat getting dumped out any time I have to reach up for something. In most cases that tradeoff is totally worth it.

It’s objectively the wrong color, but I love these things and I don’t even hate the aftermarket grille (which is the first time I have ever said that). Sounds like it’s priced competitively, so clear NP for me.

The cups form the drink station would litter the street as the runners dropped them. The rock band would play at full volume starting at 7AM.

Yeah, this sounds like a cool technology being horribly misused. I hope the poor choice of applications doesn’t kill it in its infancy.

my kid suffers from asthma and nosebleeds for no apparent reason
