I’m pretty sure this is every state that gets snow. We northerners like to make fun of, say, Atlanta when they have a winter storm, but the first snowstorm of the season is always a shitshow here too.

I had to scroll way too far to find this. I once watched a drunk guy stumble out of a bar, fall into the street, pick himself up and proceed to drive off in his truck. I thought about calling the cops, but this was in a town of about 50 people in the middle of nowhere, so the odds of anyone finding the guy on

I love that area. Try to get up there at least once a year.

Unfortunately for them, Russian assets have been frozen.

I know Ford did on the 2.7 Ecoboost in the F-150. I also know they have a problem with oil seepage. I would not be pleased to find a plastic oil pan on any vehicle intended for off-road use.

It’s starting to come back down here, but only in certain cities. Some places you can get it for $3.59, others are still at $3.99. Gotta watch GasBuddy carefully because there’s little rhyme or reason to it.

Or any editor for that matter. ;-)

Eh, I’m a 30-something and pretty fit, but three games of bowling can still leave me plenty sore. It uses muscles that aren’t necessarily used in other sports. In my case it’s my slide leg that usually complains, probably because you’re basically doing a one-leg squat every time you throw.

punctured tire (my own doing vs a nail on the road)

I have an ID.4, and as long as I’m using Apple Carplay or Android Auto, it’s not terrible.

They already have, it’s called “Spirit Airlines”. ;-)

I believe they did a similar thing with the Hubble. Just pointed it at an “empty” section of sky and got back a picture of dozens of galaxies.

Yes, there’s plenty of nonsense “money from thin air” schemes in traditional financing too, but that’s no reason to codify it as the basis of your currency system.

Indeed. If I wanted to play a game where I look at cars I can’t afford I would just go drive around the nearest luxury car lots. I guarantee the graphics would be better too. ;-)

What’s really interesting to me is that they both had areas where they were faster. Max’s good points just added up to more than Perez’s.

Oh and also, paramedics have the highest (by far) rates of PTSD in Canada. But since public safety thinks we’re healthcare and healthcare thinks we’re public safety, we turn out to be nothing and no one helps.

Sure, you have to factor that in to your break-even calculations, but there is still going to be a break-even point unless you’ve got a much better rewards program than I do. :-)

Oh, no question. I don’t mean anyone would ever mass produce 3d printed wheels. It might be interesting for one-offs or prototypes though. In that case (based on my understanding as a hobbyist 3d printer), the benefits of not needing new tooling for a low-volume part tend to outweigh the drawbacks of 3d printing.

As someone who likes it pitch black when I sleep I could see myself using that. I don’t get claustrophobic in MRIs either though.

It depends. A week in a hotel could easily cost as much as a fillup. The longer you stay at a destination the more an RV pays for its fuel costs.
