Yeah, it’s just crazy to me that they designed it from the factory to use crankcase oil for this.

    Now playing

This is a long but excellent discussion of NFTs, crypto, and all of the egregious problems with them:

I’ve read a number of articles about rotaries over the years and never heard this mentioned. It seems insane that you would intentionally inject oil that is not intended for combustion into the combustion chamber.

I’m not sure what that ad is for, but I suspect you got it as a result of your username that suggests you make questionable purchasing decisions. :-P

And the best part is after selling the NFT you can still sell the car because there’s absolutely no real connection between the two!

Probably, since no one uses them anymore. ;-)

I guess you missed this part of the article:

This is why we’re a loooong way from having level 5 AVs. They still haven’t figured out how to make them work well in perfect weather, making them work on roads that may be covered in ice/snow/salt residue (the latter can completely obliterate road markings around here) for days or weeks after a storm is not even on

If this is the kind of writing she was doing at her previous job, I can see why she got fired.

Nikola Board: We need a new president for our failing company.

The car suffered from a lack of marketing.

I really need one of those that is “YouTube Certified”.

I was going to comment “Someone call Jeff Goldblum” and then I saw the Jurassic Park tire cover. Methinks the owner is at least somewhat in on the joke here.

It’s still in beta, but don’t worry: Every Tesla that survives the beta will get an OTA update to the final version when (if) it releases. ;-)

The Chang-Li would require a cliff to manage it though.

I get that some people will like the minimalist(-ish) design, but $50k?! That’s a lot of scratch for what amounts to a fancy(-ish) popup camper. The fact that I had to qualify both minimalist and fancy makes me wonder who this is for though.

Can you even still do that with modern phones though? I also dabbled with aftermarket Android back in the day, but my understanding is that modern phones are so locked down you can’t do that anymore.

    I don’t think the emissions are CARB-compliant though. ;-)

Valid point, although with the prices used cars are pulling in these days MSRP from 6 years ago might not be wildly off the mark.
