Legal, maybe, but I believe Tesla owners have gotten nastygrams from Tesla if they overuse their local superchargers. Tesla’s stance was that superchargers are for when you’re travelling, not to replace charging at home.

Yeah, I understand why they did it, but I wonder if the Wrangler name would carry the same weight it does if Jeep had named the Compass “Wrangler Sport”. They’re trading a short-term sales bump for the long-term name value of Bronco.

What more were they supposed to do? It’s not like they could just drop a search team off at his car to go looking for him. The guy got himself lost in an area that was extremely difficult to access at the time and paid the price. Unless there was more to the story, the authorities did everything they could reasonably

Cyclists like to forget that along with their right to use the road, they also have responsibilities. They’re sticklers for the law right up until it inconveniences them.

    Apparently Dolphins have erogenous zones.

When I was in high school we decided to go trick or treating one Halloween even though we were way too old. Not enough seats in the car = someone riding in the trunk. Was especially fun when a cop car followed us down main street.

The Bronco Sport should just be the Escape. It’s the spiritual successor to the first and second gens when it at least looked like a real SUV.

If it helps the haters any, plenty of cyclists still manage to have beer guts on account of all the beer they consume during and after rides. ;-)

Given that this is coming out of China, I would take the numbers with a big grain of salt too. They’re not a government renowned for transparency.

The numbers in this article make me extremely dubious.

It had to be sarcasm right? Nobody could be that st...*looks at OP*...there couldn’t be more than one person that stupid, could there?

Let’s be honest, Fancy Kristen’s idea of “roughing it” is when the caviar delivery to her mega-yacht is delayed and she has to make due with lobster for dinner. She wouldn’t be caught dead near a rooftop tent or a barn.

Yep. This is why when I take a car loan, I take the longest term I can get at ~the same rate. I can pay it off faster, but if something bad happens I’m only on the hook for the lower payment until things improve.

The fact that you assumed that means you have more sense than the people who built this abomination.

Runs and drives with a bunch of mechanical work done in the relatively recent past for $4500? Not bad. Least desirable configuration of a desirable car? Not good.

sklooner got a hat-tip at the end of the article, as is typical when someone suggests an article topic to them.

Here you still need to meet some criteria (have one symptom, be a close contact etc. but no one is checking so just tell a little white lie)

VinFast sounds like a scam service for re-selling stolen cars.

    So it was a landslide?

This is the correct answer. :-)
