Yea it does lol. I prefer my MK 7.5 GTI interior by far. Traditional analog gauges and a center touch screen console that is flush with the dash. I hate the floating tablet designs.

2019 GTI owner here. It doesn’t bother me and I’m OCD as heck. It’s like a rim center cap and those rotate all the time and are probably out of sync. However on that note, I hear that VW will be selling auto centering wheel caps.P solved!

On the Golf? I have a 2019 GTI and the volume knob still has a rotating power symbol. 

I bought a 2019 GTI this year and I agree, physical knobs all the way. I'm also OCD as hell but I don't care about the power symbol getting out of wack. Other OCD peeps, just think of it as a wheel center cap. Those are rotating all the time and all 4 are pointing in different directions!
