True. That's why her interaction with Glenn was so annoying, imo- I think she would have been more mature and thoughtful than she was. Don't even get me started on that other show! lol. The drug addict kid doesn't bug me much, but the other two…the best comparison I can come up with is like nails on a chalk board.

That's a good point, and she's probably still angry with him about his lying.

Yeah, I always thought of her as competent but sweet, not a mean military type. I like her too, and I completely agree with you- I'm glad they're dressing her more like a normal person and not like she's starring in a Tomb Raider porn parody, and I'd love to see her develop as a character and get a proper storyline.

Hannibal the tv show wasn't based on SOTL the movie, it was based on the books by Thomas Harris (in fact the show had to steer clear of any characters or scenarios that were unique to SOTL book or movie because Sony holds all the rights to that story). But the source material isn't really important, what matters is

There's a meme featuring the 80's Canadian tv show starring Louis Del Grande?

Ron and Enid are both too awful for words, and Korl is at his absolute worst now that he's involved with them. Too much teenaged angst for me. These damn kids need to get off my lawn.

Instead of terrorizing poor Sam, I'd love to see Carol school Enid and Ron.

I find it hard to believe that she's be so whiny and immature- she's survived an apocalypse, she's been through the death of her parents, she knows what's what and how things are, and she's old enough to know how important any information is to Glenn. I know the show's trying to write them as "moody teens" but it's so

Agreed! Lizzie and Mika were great, very interesting characters and those girls could act. Pretty much all of the Alexandrians are falling flat for me, they're either bland and boring or actively annoying and stupid. Deanna was interesting at first and she's an excellent actress but her character has totally fizzled

I was a bit surprised how tough and bitchy Rosita was all of a sudden. I hope she doesn't go after Sascha with a machete when Abraham breaks up with her.

Yeah, I found her really insufferable this episode. Glenn is trying to find out what happened to Alexandria and his wife, and Enid's all like "you don't know me! You're not my dad, stop telling me what to do!" I would have strangled her.

In defence of Carol's "the only thing that keeps you from becoming a monster is killing" line…remember last week when Darryl's new friends said "some people will do anything for protection"? I think Carol meant you retain your humanity by fighting/killing bad guys like the Wolves, and you become a monster if you join

I wish I could change my username to Annie Wilkes.

Hannibal was very stylized and theatrical- it wasn't trying to depict a realistic, logical world they way TWD is trying to.

But TWD is supposed to be all gritty and real and stuff, where as Hannibal was always completely improbable, operatic and surreal.

That actually could have set up some interesting storylines, and would have made Enid a much more interesting character.

Yeah, that scene was laughably bad.

At first I thought Ron's wanting to kill Korl was a little over the top too, but I figure he must take after his dad and then growing up in a violent home must have made him a little crazy. I wonder if Sam will play into their story somehow, maybe kill Ron to prevent him from killing Korl, or maybe Sam will kill

As a layperson with zero knowledge of physics or engineering, I'll allow it.

Oh, and Deanna's "plan" makes a cameo appearance. For a moment I thought maybe they'd take it as evidence that Deanna has, in fact, lost her mind- "this thing looks like it was drawn by an 8 year old, Deanna's obviously lost touch with reality, lock her and her stupid son up in the cell before they cause some serious
