A. It was the first multi-publisher launcher, and having ONE central hub for your games is fine. Launching a launcher FROM YOUR LAUNCHER is the problem. That and publishers trying to force you to abandon your launcher in favor of their thing.

Ubiquity - and it allows you to add non-steam games very easily. And offers a greater level of control than any other launcher. Lots more reasons.
It was first, or at least very early, and widely adopted for broad PC platform. Similarly Steam wouldn’t get a pass if it only launched Valve games, I would assume.
As we’ve seen on a national scale for the last 8 years, laws are only things to worry about if there are consequences attached to breaking them.
It’s almost like PDs the US over have little effect in actually preventing crime, despite the record-high budgets.
Just a reminder: the US police forces have the third highest budget of all armies IN THE WORLD. Just a bit shy of the Chinese Army.
The world’s 3rd largest army is used to police ourselves, against…
Definitely, because you can guarantee none of these increased profits are filtering into wages
So... late stage capitalism?
The only way to not be ripped off is to simply not go.
Two-speed transmission on the rear motor
and if transmissions are inefficient in the context of EVs, I wonder if adding multiple motors could do, they are usually quite small anyway, maybe we could have one general and one dedicated to cruising speeds
As others have said, it’s not necessary for most cars, but Porsche does have a two-speed in the Taycan.
Because efficiency at speed is directly correlated to aerodynamic drag. In fact, if anything, electric motors are actually most efficient at higher RPM, it just requires more power to push the car though the air at high speed, hence more energy consumption. It’s worth noting though that the change in efficiency…
I think the higher “consumption” of EVs at higher speeds is the result of drag (almost exclusively).
But how do you even know where the license plate is hiding on the average car in maine
Welp, now I gotta buy bayonetta 3.
Welp, there goes any sympathy I had.
Miata is always the answe... Ok, maybe not this time.
Impressive but looking at one example it’s a shame that some of the US editions are seemingly so dull.
FTFY.
