Cops in America are encouraged to shoot first and mmmaaaybe ask questions later. Then plant a weapon on your corpse.

Something something thin blue line something keeping us safe

If someone who was not a police officer engaged in this exact behavior they would be going to jail right now for decades. Can someone explain to me like I’m 5 years old why this officer is not going to jail?

I know I certainly feel safer. Glad they’re out there gunning down random people for us.

I’m sure the margins aren’t huge, but the higher trim levels are probably good and you’re getting young people into the brand.

Production lines can only move so fast. They can’t just “turn it up” to make more in the same amount of time. The next step is actually retooling other production lines which means losing whatever that might be and there are obviously costs involved with doing that.

Even funnier when you consider that in the latter half of the 2010's, all the big manufacturers revamped the mid-size class by making them all significantly larger, while keeping the traditional bed lengths.

Yea, it’s so dumb.

It would be great if Ford would let you do this online, alas one must go to the dealer and provide license  fill in paper work etc. All things that I just don’t have time to do at the moment. Granted, that’s a me problem as clearly Ford is having no problem selling these under those conditions.

We have ourselves to blame for situations like this. We spent years pretending China was anything other than an authoritarian regime that brutally cracks down on dissent and commits genocide against its own people because for years it was super easy to go there and make shit tons of money. Companies from around the

Give ‘em to the Truckers.

I’ve used HowLongToBeat for a while now and all I need to know is that I’m sometime longer than average because I take things a little slower, or get into trouble a lot of places, and am a semi-completionist. But otherwise I generally trust HowLongToBeat’s data.

O/T, kinda

This. The money being (finally) poured into new battery technologies is going to improve batteries (and what they are made from). The question is just when.

I think so. I mean, the harsh truth is that it’s still cheaper than the average new car today, and if you go for the Circuit — or whatever the Circuit becomes after 23 — it feels premium enough. The Core grade definitely has more of an economy car feel to it, but you’re paying for things you won’t see in the interior

Demand for EVs alone.

Yes.
