Honestly surprised she was getting work because her acting is terrible.

Nope thats not the case. You’re kind of close though. That model you’re referring to is the Rogue Select, which was based on the first gen Rogue that was introduced back in 2007. That thing sold so well they kept it around when the second gen rolled around and called it select. Just like, as you mentioned, Chevy did…
Ngl, reading this article is legitimately the first time I’ve been made aware a Rogue Sport even existed lol.
Imagine going from a major role on arguably one of the most popular shows in the world to tanking your acting career and being reduced to star in fringe conspiracy theory movies just to show everyone that you “owned the libs” on Twitter.
Footage from the cockpit:
So right in line with current new car prices.
Gina Carano did a speedrun from “mildly popular bit actor” to “conservative troll”. Same arc as Kevin Sorbo but in a fraction of the time. Like, I respected her stuntwork in the otherwise boring-as-hell Haywire, and she was getting some pretty major gigs up through the Mandalorian, and she couldn’t wait for her career…
“Just as there is no fighting in the war room, there’s no being dicks in the cockpit.”
Yeah they might have to reduce their price, but it would also lower their costs. Or they could do like apple does with iphones and the actual new model only comes out every few years, but between those there’s the s and x and whatever else models with marginal upgrades that you still have to pay full price for and…
NFL makes more money from an exclusive license, EA makes more money because no matter how trash the game is people will pay to play with the real teams and players, and that’s the only thing both parties care about.
These games should just be an MMO with a subscription fee that gets constantly updated on a weekly/monthly basis to reflect actual fluid ratings. Hell, you could probably do it so that you don’t even have to pay anyone to update it and have some shitty machine learning algorithm just read in stats from this weeks…
I really don’t understand why they can’t just release an actual new game every five years and a paid new year roster update every year between. Then maybe the game could stop being a massive piece of shit.
You’d think they’d be able to save some development costs if they just released roster updates for a price every couple of years. I’d be willing to bet a majority of their target demo would pay at least 40 dollars for accurate rosters every year. Then maybe every 3 to 5 years, release a new base model game with new…
LEAKED COPY OF EA’S MADDEN MASTER PLAN
Ironically, you would actually think that annualized games would result in more polish, cause you don’t have to update the engine every time. Just do a roster update.
They are stuck halfway between two models - they still sell at full price as an annualized title, but then are also live service games. They really need to just switch to more of a Destiny-like model where each new actual football season is itself a new season to purchase, getting you new rosters and new cards for…
I think we’ve hit the point of diminishing returns when it comes to simulation sports games. Unless they all go full photo realistic VR.
I agree but I also think there really isn’t much room for sports games to actually have real growth. At this point they’re really only trying to get right what’s already in the game. There’s very little not in the games to add.
Bring back NFl Blitz.
Welp another year another reason for why sports games shouldn’t be annualized and given the proper time for polishing.
