YO HO HO and a bottle of rum!
Been doing my part to preserve hard to find Ninty softs for years now. I’m a happily paying customer, but for real, businesses like to shoot themselves in the foot the way Ninty does. Jailbreak away y’all!
Base PS4 owner here. I’ve owned CP2077 disc version since launch, tho have yet to play it since the whole debacle keeps persisting. But the postcards and stickers that came with my disc copy worked as intended on day one. So... yay!
I get what you mean. You can do what I do, and wait for some of the games to drop in price before purchasing, and play the game(s) you already have in the meantime.
Some of those comments are true, tho. The Switch will see an inevitable end just the same. Also, physical copies of games are always going to be king in my eyes. Whenever you purchase a digital item, companies always have the ability to remove said items off their digital shelves whenever they want. Ironically, I own…
I’d say modding our 3DS’s is in order here. Ninty, among others, aren’t keen on game preservation like us gamers are. Older titles always get harder to find as time goes on, and we’d be lucky to find specific sought after games in brick & mortar vintage stores. I frequent the handful I have in my city, but some games…
Yes it is. I used to hack my PSPs years ago the same way. Going to physical shops for vintage games is also a fun time.
PS5, what’s that? Haha. I’ll be playing on my humble PS4. I can deal without any of the fancy stuff as long as it just runs well enough.
I could have probably done what you did, but I guess I just wanted to see what the end result would be. Glad you didn’t have many issues.
I guess I can finally crack open my copy on PS4.
IF Sony were to buy kocknami I’m sure as hell expecting there to be more MGS games for damn sure, with or without Kojima.
So, y’all think Sony should buy Capcom?
In my recollection they aren’t Ninty level. I’ve tried quite a few handfuls of RE fan games over the years and they’ve stuck around. The most notable one being the RE4HD project.
More self-awareness. A dab’ll do ya.
Some people like getting into accidents, I suppose.
Or, maybe don’t be too self-absorbed in your devices. Have a nice trip! See you next fall!
This article reminds me of a few years ago during my lunch break at work. I was hanging out in front of my office with my coworkers and this woman who was hyper-focused on her phone while walking didn’t notice she was about to walk into a tree surrounded by a foot-high guard rail. I assumed she was going to notice and…
Nah. Pretending to like someone you truly despise takes way too much energy.
I’m the dude playing the dude disguised as another dude.
