A picture would've been worth more than 8:41 of video. Just jump to around the five minute mark to see the box.

How would you feel about piping water to Nevada if it keeps those people from moving to your neighborhood? Or keeping even more Californians from moving in?

I'm all in favor of using less carbon to transport things, but I just looked up Corian and it's made from acrylic polymer and aluminum oxide. Aluminum uses a lot of energy to process, and we all know about plastic. So I wouldn't be surprised if ceramic toilets are more eco-friendly.

Thinner, lighter, stronger don't matter except at transport and installation. Toilets malfunction, but cracking and shattering is almost never a problem. I think it's insulting to other toilet manufacturers to suggest none of them have made improvements to toilets in the last fifty years, since they obviously have.

Fortunately there's the internet, strip clubs, or actually talking to a girl at a party and she willingly goes home with you and shows you hers.

It's good news, but keep in mind they also have to study how bad this is for birds. The turbines are so close it looks like a grinder.

Unnecessary and uncalled for to jokingly label her that.

Just like people should be allowed to drive without seat belts or ride without helmets? The problem is then they end up in the hospital and cost everyone else more money and resources.

Sounds like you're bound for skin cancer in a few decades.

Thin fabric on top is pretty scant protection. Teva Zilch's are meant to encourage landing on the ball of the foot just like Fivefingers.

Flipflops can mess up your feet. They won't for everybody, but their lack of support combined with encouraging a heel-strike-first stride can.

I'd like a camera with a Micro Four Thirds sensor and a non-interchangeable lens and here's why. The Fujifilm X100 has a larger sensor and a fixed lens, but it's 2.2 inches deep. That's too bulky for a pant pocket. If it's physically possible to put a Micro Four Thirds sensor and a telescoping 2x zoom in a body 1.2

Is that 200,000 pairs of land animals with enough food and water for forty days and forty nights? Or more probably, just enough food to keep them alive for forty days AND the further days until the flooded and dead land regrew vegetation and seeds for the herbivores. The carnivores could survive on fish.

On Facebook your friends start equal, but you can make lists of them which is like a circle of them. To make a list click "Friends", then "Edit Friends", then "Create a list". When you add new friends there's an option to add them to existing lists.

If by profiles you mean different identities for your friends, family, and coworkers, Circles is designed so most people won't need that. Instead your contacts go in different circles. Your coworkers who are also your friends and also sci-fi fans go in all three of those circles. When you post something, you choose

On an oil rig, if only one type of metal touches water and the other type of metal is far above the water and not contacting the electrolyte, is galvanic corrosion still a problem?

Another is This Song Is Just Six Words Long. It made fun of George Harrison and the lacking lyrics of I've Got My Mind Set On You.

Why is it OK to convert chicken and cow poop into lettuce and tomatoes for your burger, but not OK to use obviously very thorough methods to sterilize and separate proteins from the waste into something we can use again?

If I'm trying to find a friend or child in a crowd it would help. At Best Buy it could direct me with a large virtual arrow over the product I came in for. When driving at a complicated interchange it could show me exactly which lane I need to be in. At a museum it could show an animation of the object I'm looking at

I truly hope Microsoft or Sony can convince Vuzix to get these mass produced and cheap enough for the next consoles. The Wii U has a demo game where a person with the controller uses it like a window, moving it around to see what's outside. But that's a 6" window. Meanwhile the problem with Playstation Move is the TV
