@dantheman12: It's for people who got the G1 two years ago and want a replacement with a keyboard. For those without a Nexus One there's the Samsung Vibrant and Galaxy S. Those aren't really as good as the N1, but they're meant to be comparable.

@B4B9: Can you explain why you're so opposed to it?

@ttech10: You don't see a company with ten times as many brilliant software engineers finding better algorithms than TiVo? Wow.

How do we know if the S95 should be scared? Neither of those reviews actually compare the two cameras against each other. Neither of them say how the image quality compares to the S95, or G11. Wake me when dpreview does a real review.

@robotkiller: can you carry lenses in your pocket like you can carry this or the S95? No?

They certainly like paint.

@ChronoTrigger: None that I recommend. There's probably something out there that does 720p. The best Canon has is the A2100 and that's 640x480.

Some people like to game in dim light, but not total lights out. This could be appealing for them. Like the Philips ambilight TVs.

@ChronoTrigger: Piqued, not peaked. Check out the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700. It's 1080i though. It records 60 interlaced fields and plays them back at 30 frames per second. Just like broadcast HDTV.

Still has a slow Continuous Shooting of 1.9 shots per second. 3.9 per second at 2.5 megapixels, but that's 1824x1368. Not even wide enough to fill an HDTV.

@NaraVara: If other apps used the button, the learning curve would still be short, minuscule, and contextual. In a phone app it takes the picture. In a game it jumps or fires. In a music app it raises or lowers the volume - oh wait.

@TheAlmeida: My problem with Apple's actions is they're telling the consumer which way the consumer prefers to use the product. Consumers are saying they overall would rather use the iPhone instead of an Android. Yet they'd enjoy using their iPhones even more with the volume button as a shutter. Apple is telling them

@A.Jaswal: Good CEOs can't or shouldn't be nice? Or not a douche? Enriching his five friends at the expense of others helps the stock price but in the long term hurts company morale and productivity.

@Return of DaOtter: I'd say the Mythbusters copycats failed because they tried to be cooler and more dramatic than they are. Too much fake coolness, stupid editing done for wannabe style, overly-driving music trying to pump up every moment, and the announcer sounding way too intense. The viewers see it and know it's
