I loved that episode (and counted 6 plot twists I didn’t see coming).
Now there were originally three books published with (according to
comments from Del Toro) books 1 and 2 matching up with seasons 1 and 2.
Apparently book 3 may require 3 seasons as this horror story goes in a
very dark direction (no pun)
