Picard has moments of brilliance weighted down by the horribly paced plot and by some new/ old characters that could have gone the distance.

Statement from David Zaslav:

So... this only makes sense, right? They came in, killed all the stuff they did not like, and going forward stuff they make is stuff they wanted to make.

Goddamn, I fucking hate every shit-ass word of that corporate-speak horseshit. Anyone who utters words like, “We’re really on track for a lot of asset value creation and free cashflow generation,” and “we’re coming from an irrational time of overspending with limited focus on return on investment,” shouldn’t be

So they sacked the people responsible for the sacking?

Are Hinge, Bumble and Tinder really “woke apps”, or is it just that most young people are and that’s who uses them? Seems like a “reality has a liberal bias” kind of situation as far as young people on dating apps goes.

My mom watches some of these shows so I’ve caught some episodes of each just being around her. Heartland and When Calls the Heart are just bad. Very bad. The writing is bad. The plots are bad. The acting is bad. The Good Witch and Sweet Magnolias are completely forgettable. Blue Bloods and Young Sheldon are both CBS

the idea that the Twitter CEO needed to “be in a war room” presumably to respond to every single little tweet, retweet, whisper, and bird sign that would occur during the crisis that Elon was forcing upon them is everything that is wrong with the private sector and, frankly, this world.

Because they don’t actually want the internet to be a public utility, they want something they can make money off of, where they can say whatever they want, and where they can ban anyone who says something they don’t like. Anyone who actually thinks Musk is gonna turn twitter into a freeze peach paradise is a fucking

The moment Musk said he wanted to buy Twitter, I deleted my account. Haven’t missed it all.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA...AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!

They already did that to their movies, didnt they?

What a second, wasn’t Dame Helen Mirren IN the Fast & the Furious movies? And Billy’s really not gonna comment on her resemblance to his movie’s current villain?

I am excited and ready. I hope though that Billy and Shazam/Captain Marvel feel more cohesive this go around. The biggest issue with the first film was that neither personality felt similar and their emotions didn’t really carry over either way transformation wise.

Thanks, I hate it.

I mean it is pretty clear someone is trying to manipulate things. Particularly when it comes to actresses and female pop culture characters. The online bot push to bashing female leads in Star Wars, Marvel, and DC got crazy and it fed into a trend that got negative reactions and ratings to just about everything with

Snyder is actually an interesting creative with distinct vision
