I think it's for visitors to your house. Say you're friends is over and did whatever reason, you don't want to log them into your WiFi network, but you're okay with allowing them to cast something. Just a guess on my part, here.

You know the kind of guy who does nothing but bad things and then wonders why his life sucks? Well, that was me. It's probably more for people like me. I have a Blu-Ray player, but it does not offer Netflix or other streaming services. I do not have a gaming console either. I have been looking at a Roku box, but with the cheapest one at about $50, this is definitely a great deal, especially with 3 months of Netflix for free.

I think the issue is that in most houses, the fuse box/circuit breaker is located in the garage on the far wall. My garage, unfortunately, became a dumping ground for the things I didn't have a place for when I moved (yes, I should clean it up, but that's another issue). Not to mention, the car is in my direct line
