Loved the movie for all the reasons mentioned in the comments here and in the articles above, but I do have one slight criticism. While Led Zepplin’s “Immigrant Song” might be one of my favorite rock songs of all time, I think it was used too often. In retrospect, I think its reapperance at the end kind of robs the

Bravo to you for pointing this out. It totally sailed past me. +1

The only issue I had with them is that you basically had to sit still and listen to them when you pick them up. Otherwise, if you keep moving through the place where you found the audio log, Aloy might begin her next scripted conversation as she continues exploring the ruins, and the conversation would run into the

You could go with this:

+1 for the user name alone. I laughed.

I don’t think you are misremembering. At the very least, it’s a reasonable assumption that this would have been the last season anyway based on where the story ended in Season 5.

Yeah, I think we’re done for the day on this note.

Plus, Silver has credibility with NBA players that goes back to his banning of Donald Sterling for life. He’s a commissioner who actually did something about an owner who was an inveterate racist. Goodell’s relationship with NFL players isn’t anywhere close to that good because he has always sided with the owners.

The first time I was asked to shuffle a deck of cards by a New Zealander almost ended in a fist fight because of the accent. I first thought it was some sort of local insult.

“16 is more than 15.”

You could also add the New York Yankees in the 2001 World Series just after 9/11 to this list (though they didn’t win).

I actually want Everton to be a good team because the derby is better when both teams are playing well. So, I feel for you, but I also can’t imagine that they stay that low in the table. I think there are too many teams that are worse than them for Everton to be relegated. Still a long way to go this season.

Speaking as a Liverpool lifer, not even I believe that they are Tottenham’s betters. They still wouldn’t have been if they’d had Mane, Lallana and Wijnaldum all available Sunday.

Maybe not all of them. Only the ones I’ve ever encountered on any forum, social media platform, in real life... okay, maybe you’re right.

May I humbly request that I be permitted to use this in my non-Kinja life?

This deserves more attention. Well done.

Agree. One of the best values in LA is the Galaxy. Great atmosphere with lots of die-hard fans. Concession prices are still ridiculous (beer starts at $12), but the tickets are relatively cheap, and though they have a terrible record this season, they are usually a pretty competitive team.

Would that he were this articulate. Also, you forgot to throw in the obligatory self-congratulation for his tremendous electoral college victory.

A bone spur in a heel. By the way, he doesn’t remember which one.
