I think the chants after a goal are kind of lame, personally, and the joke about thanking the announcer for telling everyone there’s a minute left in a period was played out decades before Nashville got a team. Still, that’s just my opinion, and every fanbase has its dumb traditions.

I wouldn’t have believed that until three or four days ago. Right now, Lundqvist would be the better goalie, and the Rangers defense has been solid. Also, Vigneault has proven he can pull the strings and get the most out of his team in a deep playoff run, where Trotz has never been past this round.

I’m not even that optimistic. I doubt many who voted for their own suffering will see the role their vote played in bring it to pass. They will instead blame immigrants, poor non-whites, and coastal elites.
Gerrymandering usually has a say in that, as well as voters who can be convinced to disregard their own interests.
