I believe Carrol in his answer wasnt an answer but another clue. He was careful not to use backwards. Its a charade of letter & backwards. Real answer: One is nevar backwards and one is forWords! Which is why the chapter is all about TIME, which is nevaR backwards too except in wonderland of course.
