That’s ridiculous. If he’d done something bad, he’d be staying and they’d be circling the wagons to defend him.

I didn’t go that way at all, because unfortunately it seems like companies are more worried about protecting people like that than anything else, and seemingly always after the fact.

Can we just acknowledge how incredibly cool it is to release something like this? More of this, please, from all companies.

But they ARE doing a shot-for-shot remake in most of the scenes (at least it appears that way based on the footage they’ve released). If they’re going as far as copying shots, they may as well also try to more closely match the color, or at the very least match the ‘feel’ of the color

Oh come on, the shots already mirror the Anime obviously. Half assing it is a mistake. I have HDR for a reason. Colors be popping.

But you can create a vibrant color palette without doing a shot-for-shot remake.

You really can’t turn this around into ‘perhaps it is u who are petty’ - the guy gleefully harassed and targeted minorities, and much of his anguish was that his website matured (to a degree) while he didn’t. The Something Awful website bankrolled his entire lifestyle even as he grifted and complained server costs

I won’t ever really take pleasure in a man’s death but this coming the day after (as confirmed by LadyAmbien) he lost his divorce settlement against her is... remarkably scummy.

Something Awful produced a wild amount of humor and culture for decades and had a massively outsized influence for a long time. It was a place where I learned a lot about writing, about politics and some other things.

You called “rich people math” prejudiced, and then explained how the petite bourgeoisie does this shit constantly and by virtue of its ordinary nature within the realm of rich people that somehow makes it pedestrian and gauche to comment on. You’re a toady for capital and even explaining this to you is frankly more

Naw, it’s rich people’s math. She leveraged a million dollars. Poor people don’t have a million dollars.

Bootlickers in the comments be like

Naw, it’s rich people’s math. She leveraged a million dollars. Poor people don’t have a million dollars.

That is a solid theory. That’s why it slightly annoys me when I’m looking to make a ‘big’ purchase and so many reviews are suggesting the ‘best budget friendly’ version of the thing, instead of just the best.

This will always remind me about ‘Boots’ Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness. Where the rich person can afford a good pair of boots ($50) that will last for many years whereas the person can only afford to buy an okay pair of boots that still gets wet ($10) and last maybe a season or two.

And also not a comp structurally. You’re comparing the aggregate construction cost of a government funded/operated facility versus the perceived net present value of cash flows tied to a private business. It’s completely irrelevant.

That is... in no way a comp for a gas station.

i can’t imagine what galaxy brain you gotta have to argue that we shouldn’t try to save 10,000 lives a year because something else kills more people.  do you also sit down to chew gum?

but boy would it be an accurate way to describe that fanbase lol

So in other words, you agree that “Persona without the heart” is an extremely accurate description of SMT, you just don’t like the implication that that’s a bad thing?

Lol okay then.
