Reviews are all opinion pieces. Short of outright lying about the product, they should reflect the reviewer, because that’s how you find a critic who you can trust, because they share your opinions.

This one goes out to everyone who has ever said “only fans of this series should be on the review”, a practice that serves nobody except the fans who were already gonna play the game anyway.

I’m still waiting till it works well.  $60 instead of $70 doesn’t fix that.

Sale or no sale, wait for multiple patches/updates, Digital Foundry did a really good breakdown and sadly the game is an unoptimized mess on every platform.

The market understands that $60 is still the price point for gamers no matter what that douchebag from Zynga declared unilaterally as the new standard they should apply during a public earnings report a couple years back. So same-week ten dollar off coupons aren’t going to be disappearing anywhere anytime soon.

Discord blows for anything that isn’t sending memes or being a chat channel. I can barely find shit I referenced in personal DMs with friends, let alone attempt to navigate threads within channels within.
Like...just imagine moving the Steam forums to a Discord and just making threads/channels. Good luck

Has Discord even implemented a method to search for an exact string? If you can, I have no idea how, and would appreciate the info, if it’s possible to perform.

For example: Many of my favorite Magic: The Gathering related forums for sharing information have fled to Discord and shut down. My problem with Discord is

My GPU has 24GB of GDDR6X. All the games that have had issues recently, still have issues. Some games have been VRAM hogs, but VRAM hasn’t been anywhere close to the, or even a core issue with any of these releases, so grinding your Nvidia ax here just makes you look dumb as hell.

Not only does the market not really exist yet, but SONY OWNS HAVE THE PATENTS IN THE FUCKING SPACE thanks to 2012 Gaikai purchase.

They are averaging around $450-600+ right now, which is still a decent deal and better raster performer than the 4070.

That’s like calling Tesla a budget car because Ferraris are more expensive.

I just went to a 4070 ti from a 1080. While the 1080 was doing “okay”, it was def starting to show it’s age. Had to screw around with settings a lot more to maintain above 60fps at all times.

“Budget.”

Sony never miss the chance to let corporate bs completely derail a good product

I hope those 2 fans get what they want, but I didn’t realize the Sony handheld market was that small.

As someone who has been playing D&D and other TTRPGs for ~33 years and generally hasn’t liked much of anything that WotC has contributed to the hobby (5e is tolerable at best - there are much better systems), I found myself extremely surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie.

Yeah, they copied the Soulsborne mechanic just for the sake of copying it and didn’t put in any explanation as to WHY it was happening, unlike those games. Well, I don’t think Sekiro really had an explanation either. I think it’s fine, but it is kind of weird.

This was the first blockbuster in years that didn’t feel so Pre-Vid, set-piece led, rather instead starting with good characters and fashioning scenarios for them to interact within. If this fails at the box office, we truly don't deserve nice things.

Only Koboh, the hub world, is open-world.

I always wished they had at least one line of dialogue explaining the ‘bonfire’ / respawning mechanic. It seemed to me that Cal was meditating, with each of your failed attempts possibly supposed to be a vision into a potential future? (Almost like a more thorough “no, that’s not how it happened” from POP: Sands of
