Avengers 4: The Scourge of Mediocrity.
These all sound terrible…and not just because they are remakes.
Yes, he "was" marching for women's rights well before you were born. Also notice how both him and myself talk about it like it's a good thing.
Ah, so the accusation is that I'm racist? I'm sorry if my experience living in Latin America and being bilingual offends you. Although, I don't really see why you're making the assumption that I'm not black.
Hey conundrum, thanks for taking this seriously. I'm not trying to advocate that anybody change how they feel about a given subject, merely that you understand the viewpoints of your opponent. I campaigned for same sex marriage, but I understand the viewpoints of those that oppose it and try to treat them with…
If you talk to a lot of people, the term "feminist" HAS become tainted. Personally I had to stop calling myself a feminist after I saw a group of them attacking a guy because he wanted to know why he had 2 male friends kill themselves in the past year.
My claim is that the three groups are not the same and shouldn't be lumped in together, nor do they come from the same place.
Neg is short for Negro, which means "black" in Spanish. I'm not sure what you think it means, but it's not sinister in any capacity. It's funny that any time a woman has a difference of opinion, people like you scream "internalized misogyny." And Warren Farrell isn't an anti-feminist…as I pointed out, he was a…
Have you ever talked to anyone who is actively involved in any of these groups, or just internet trolls who claim to be a member? MRA isn't founded on a vindictive emotional response, and it's not anti-woman.
Well, you could start with either Christina Hoff Sommers or Warren Farrell, who was a prominent second wave feminist and is now one of the Mens Rights leaders.
I dunno, maybe you should try? It might change your mind, or better equip you to argue against someone who actually has all the facts.
MRA's, Gamergate, and the alt-right are three very different organizations. That would be like saying Feminists, The Oscars, and the DNC can all be understood by the same concepts.
I don't feel like it was gradual…this has always been the thing as far as I'm aware.
I suppose that's the level of political discourse that's to be expected. The only one here pretending to know the other persons struggle is this guy…assuming I'm cishet, and assuming that it says anything about me if I am. I don't define myself by my sexuality.
In the first segment of his show, he makes fun of homeless people. So many different groups are targeted, including white people, and nobody takes offense…except the LGBTQ…which is funny, because the entire bit is about how the LGBTQ community takes themselves too seriously and forgot how to laugh.
Ok? But you're accusing me of being mad that everything didn't agree with Fox. I don't watch Fox, I don't particularly like them or their spin.
1) I assume you're talking about Israel. It's interesting, because there's a point when someone reaches over the line of hating a particular policy and hating the nation. While I may not agree with the policy, the Obama administration clearly abandoned the country. We're talking about a Nation surrounded by enemies…
As someone who is a Third-Culture Kid (someone who spent a great deal of their formative years living overseas), I find it offensive that people think that Asians should hijack our storylines. Iron Fist is an important hero for expat children, who are rarely represented in American media.
By saying that when people have personal relationships, it affects their professional actions with that person, that makes me a gamergater? Have we really just abandoned common sense at the door?
I don't watch Fox News, but nice try.
