Re Pink Floyd references (e.g. Syd Barrett) twice I think in this episode David is told "just a pinprick" before being injected (with dye then with the sedative) and that immediately reminded me of the line from Comfortably Numb "Okay. Just a little pin prick *ding*There'll be no more AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
