Begging the question why Waymo isn’t issued tickets when its cars commit moving violations. I’d also think it would be like any other abandoned car blocking traffic - hook it up and impound it.

bummer, should have read the article - it clearly instructs to only do this to cars with no people inside. this is the US though, so soon there will probably be a gun included with every car sale, maybe perma-mounted to the hood or something.

A machine that can cease functionality because someone took three seconds to put a traffic cone on it and then can only be restarted by having a third party physically come out to remove the cone seems like a machine that doesn’t need to be on the road to begin with.

Kia’s 100k warranty only applies to the first owner, I believe.
