Maybe it’s more fun to try dying in a helicopter crash than it is to safely drive a tractor around an orchard drying cherries? Especially if helicopters are just falling out of the sky on top of you.

We both thought it would cool as hell. She got it for about $140. When I got to work and was showing someone a picture, one of my coworkers is apparently a huge fishing nut. He saw it, says “Short fin Mako, nice. You know they charge about $9 an inch for that kind of work right?”
It looks like the two cars he was coming down on top of get the picture pretty quick. The white thing (RAV4 maybe) was already slowing and the blue/gray car started to slow for the corner and if either of them had kept their original speed would have booted the plane off the road.

For normal sailing vessels, that can be a problem. They developed a sonar type device to help sailboats avoid bonking whales because if you make them angry, they go all ‘Moby Dick’ on the boat. They’ll let you get off on a dinghy, but they seem to take offense and can destroy the boat.
The proper way to deal with beating the hull against the waves is to build a hydrofoil boat. Just pops out of the water and then keeps going, no more slamming into waves.
Who knows, as they say, looks aren’t everything... there has to be a bunch of them because there are many people who love their Fiat 500's. Some of it is nostalgia as well. Plus, it’s just different than most everything on the road.
I’m guessing out of budget because that would really fit into the fun category. More fun than a Fiat 500, way more reliable too.
Having never driven one, I can only assume that perhaps the previous ride was larger (had to be, like what could possibly be smaller, a Yugo... if that was the case, he’d still be hanging on to the Abarth since it’s WAY more reliable than a Yugo) so this felt like driving a go kart. I went from a full size (1988)…
It’s an Italian thing. You can happily live with a strange seating position if the rest of the car is a thing of beauty. They have some odd ways of looking at things that really get lost in translation, but once you get to understand them, make perfect sense.
What? I thought Italian auto manufacturers were known for exceptionally reliable vehicles?
Sounds like they’re using Nitinol... this will create some lovely quality control issues during manufacturing due to the extremely small size. My company makes Nitinol components, can’t wait to see how this plays out.
Well, they probably found out early on that regular truck tires had too much mass. At higher speed, those will deform and explode, Garage 54 did it with regular car tires,

Karma this time, but it sounds like the guy is a loose cannon. There’s usually race director’s notes about re-entering the track safely. But with 6 points already on his license, he may not make it to the end of the season without earning the next 6. Hopefully he doesn’t take anyone else out because there are some…
Maybe in different models, but it’s not one of the super expensive ones. Don’t get me wrong, the car has some amazing features in it, but for the most part, if I’m driving it, I’m going around town and doing short hops so I just turn it off.
1st location is around 168 Main St, Deep River, CT, the second location looks to be near 10 High Street, Deep River, CT. Maybe 1/10th of a mile away and possibly in the direction the dude was originally walking. Regardless of any of that, if the kid followed him, you’re an adult and should know better, but Mr. Ugly…
We refer to those humans as ‘motorcycle enthusiasts’, not bikers, riders or motorcyclists... ESPECIALLY if they’re wearing any Sons of Anarchy / Mayans shit.
My last 2 VW’s (MK5 and a MK7), if you drive the car with A/C and recirc on, then turn off the car and come back later, when you start the car, the recirc doesn’t automatically stay engaged. There’s apparently a VCDS coding change you can make, and I honestly should get that system... but why wouldn’t the car just…
Try turning your phone volume up while on Bluetooth. I never would have thought that until the day I had the phone in my pocket and the volume up button hit the seatbelt and all of a sudden it got STUPID loud. Also had the volume button get hit and it seems like the music stops... nope, just lowest volume.
