Oh some of the new reviews are killer!

So Bob came here from R&T on or about April 4th... then Raph left Jalopnik 10 days later to go to R&T... and neither of those got a story here while we continue to see more reposts.... hell, there enough people here that if they’re short of staff, they could just ask someone to whip something together and post it...

No, no, no... Tracy wouldn’t trade away a 40 year old, rusty Jeep... he would buy another, older, rustier Jeep that he could salvage parts from to keep the 40 year old, rusty Jeep running. Then he would sell the scrap metal to the junk yard in trade for one or two less rusty body panels for the 40 year old, rusty Jeep

Scroll through the pictures, that’s a race used wheel. The only paint is on the face and rear face. It has some other stuff on there, shows wheel position, set pressure, etc. And there looks to be baked in brake dust on the back and the face where the wheel nut sits is definitely worn.

Now playing

Uh... if you really need a customized sound track for your car, I highly suggest doing it the old school way... DIY. At least that’s what I do.

I just browsed over to the F1 Authentic page... those wheel rim ‘tables’ are, shall we say, a bit expensive.  They look like they’d be better used as a short stool.  The skid block skateboard looks cool as hell... but who’s buying a $900 skateboard to hang on the wall?  You sure as hell aren’t handing that to your kid

I didn’t say unreliable... go read the Stinger forums, or the two other replies to my comment.  They’re either damn near perfect or start falling apart after a few months.  And it seems to be a crap shoot as to what you get.  The people who get the cars that don’t start falling apart are very in love with the car.

I’m curious as to what happens if the tape deck is old and the take up reel drive won’t function.  I was gifted an old Panasonic AM/FM tape deck that fits into the factory slot in old VW’s so I can put it in my 72 Bug.  The no longer make those so once the car is running again, I guess I’m going to find out.  But as

Not sure what’s up with the first 3 comments, but I love Danny Ric and it’s obvious that he and a bunch of the other drivers and teams love Austin. I know Austin is supposed to be a blast, but I’ve been quite curious as to what in particular makes the drivers and teams, who have literally been all over the world, love

I’m looking at the satellite images of the place... it already kinda looks like a track. Just needs to be made into a track.

The Stinger is nice, comfortable, and given what you can get (per specs) for you money looks like a great deal... but it’s still a Kia. I was really thinking about getting one of these and then started digging through Stinger forums. You roll the dice when you buy one. Some are perfectly put together and the owners

Yeah, but the best part is the Integra has no hood and a huge “JUNK” window decal.  The kid driving the Integra knew what he was doing and his girl is just playing on her phone like, “Ugh... not again....”

Oh I like that!

UPDATE:

Maybe in some places, but not in my area.  I swear if I ever win the lottery I’m starting my own company and it’ll just be a bunch of clowns driving beaters that will be dispatched to park cars like that in.  No damage, just park so close that it’s impossible to get into the other car.  And when the owner knocks on

Too long and too wide.  Seeing these things pull into the store for a shopping trip.  They take up 4 spaces, but some morons don’t like to walk too far, so they’ll park in a row of spaces that’s only 1 deep so the front or rear now sticks out WAY too far.  Never an issue unless you’re the unfortunate soul who’s parked

That’s kinda big and heavy for most daily driving duties, not to mention the recoil on something that large will definitely make using it kinda difficult. Stick with the lightweight M134. Between mounting, upgraded power needs and carrying enough ammo to actually be useful is most situations, you should be able to

I’ll second the cross-referencing part numbers. A good example is when I put LED marker and turn signal lamps into a 72 Super Beetle, I now needed LED compatible relays. Good luck finding those. But when I cross referenced the relay part number, the same relay was used in a ton of other cars. I picked the most recent

I like it... but that’s just an F1 car with a van on top.  That thing would burn up in the pits just idling.
