0.1) Don’t crash or drive off the track in a toddler’s rage because another driver is catching you at 0.3 seconds a lap on harder tires and is trying to pass you.

It honestly would have been funnier if he had used a picture of an Indy car in McLaren livery with Alonso driving. That would have been amusing to anyone in the know.
Yes it is... and if you were ever late anywhere, you wouldn’t need to call ahead or text... everyone in a 2 mile radius would already know.
The Japanese hadn’t taken as many islands yet, so their charted course took them over territories that were known then to be friendly or safe given current reported advances. The one area they knew the Japanese fleet *might* probably be, was in the vicinity of a charted course from NZ to SF via Hawaii.
Sure, but it was USA to USA in a flying boat. They flew over the desert in that thing. Today I wouldn’t call that around the world, but back then I’ll give it to them.
This guy erred WAY BEFORE he refused to use the roof rails, opening the sun roof and using the rear grab handles, re-tie the tree down or just tie them inside the car. Go back and watch the video again... This bonehead put a freshly cut tree right on top of the X5... no blanket, no roof rack, right on the damn paint.
No... San Francisco to Auckland, New Zealand... then fly WEST.
What AUGHT said. Fun for around town driving at lower speeds, but I had my Beetle on the highway a couple of times and even in light traffic you know that Death is waiting for you.
I wasn’t one of the stewards, so I didn’t make the call. The FIA stewards, one of which is usually a previous F1 driver, made the call. Pretty sure they know what a brake check in an F1 car would look like, so to them, Max brake checked Lewis.
Same here in CT. I haven’t read too deep into it, but I do know that if it doesn’t have a modern 17 digit VIN, all you need to register it is a bill of sale, proof of insurance, your driver’s license and a form of payment.
Wouldn’t be surprising. I’m kind of hoping that the race committee pulls both of them aside, specifically Max, to explain what what they did the last time they felt a driver took out their competition during the last race.
Or you read the post race discussion where the stewards pulled the telemetry from Verstappen’s car and noted that he “braked suddenly and significantly, resulting in a 2.4g deceleration”.
Part of the difference is that the Merc is faster in a straight line, so at any higher speed tracks they have an advantage. The other part may be the engine they put in Hamilton’s car for Brazil, that motor got used for Brazil and for the last two races of the season (this past weekend and then for Abu Dhabi).
I have a friend that we’ve nicknamed “Hollywood” because he’ll turn completely around while driving to ask how we’re doing in the back. That’s in traffic, at speed in a VW Vanagon. So, in the back, you have a clear view of everything we could plow into.
Yeah, that incident didn’t withstand scrutiny when they looked at Lewis’ telemetry data from the car. The data showed that Lewis did not tap the brakes... unlike yesterday where they found that Max DID in fact tap the brakes to cause the collision.
If there hadn’t been the 2 VSC’s Hamilton would have caught and passed/tangled with Verstappen long before he did. It seemed every time he got within DRS range there was another VSC and the gap would widen again. I was kind of hoping to see what would happen since Max was on mediums and Lewis was on the hard…
Scooters I can see, especially a Vespa in a city/urban area. I was thinking about mopeds specifically and to me, there’s a clear distinction between the two. Moped you pedal to start, has no floor and is a bare bones design. A scooter has pretty much the same exact everything, but is built into a package with a…
Between seeing that movie as a kid and then the Lotus in the opening sequence of Pretty Woman... I still want one. Even if I could find one in good condition that I could afford, I’d never be able to get it in my driveway though.
Found a review of one here:
I shall maintain that I’m not wrong, you’re just lucky and found the right person.
