You have your lawyer send a note to the dealership to preserve all recordings and evidence (their internal security cameras) for pending litigation. If they erase it, it’s a double whammy, destruction of evidence your honor.

Unlawful recording vs. being held against your will, think about that for a second. A great lawyer will do this for you for a cut of the massive payout you’re about to get in the lawsuit against the dealership who held you captive.
