Even with the terrible color choice the Merc is faaar better looking.

Oh, I miss the days when we had T-Tops and great T-Top weather...

The “aero” on that van still gives me twitches. Were they trying to make it slower?

There were some decent sports car designs in those books. Naturally, it was a favorite of mine as well.

I was thinking of the poor garage floor

Oil pan gasket?!? We don’t need no stinking OIL PAN GASKETS!!!”

I bet that thing weighs 40lbs from a time when men weighed 150lbs.

You never use a bronze gear in an all steel gear assembly to act as the weak point? I’ve designed hundreds of gear reduction units with that exact feature. For example, it’s absolutely necessary when driving positive displacement lubrication pumps when it’s preferable to crater the easiest gear to replace (often while

Stock axles on my ‘94 Celica GT4 has historically been the weak link at anything over 350WHP. I’ve broken at least half a dozen of them. I just bought another complete set of reman’d axles (It’s a weird mix-match of Celica, Camry and MR2 Turbo axles) with lifetime warranty.

It should have been painted as a 1961 Lincoln Continental four-door convertible for a bit of synergistic metaphor, a wink and a nod.

Those I remember seeing in huge quantities when I lived over in China a decade ago. The one Jason bought I don’t recall seeing.

I’ll design you a two speed gearbox so you can, at least, keep up with the joggers.

Yeah, I hear that story often but it doesn’t stand up. My MR2 has great linear power (Thanks to the T-VIS) and then at 3k RPM it hits a wall of double the off-boost power. Plus, because it has the later revision turbocharger on it, it just pulls hard to redline.

Are you fucking nuts, David?!? The kids at my High School who got one of these handed down were convinced their parents hated them.

Looks far better then the R33 Sedan to my eyes. FAR better.

IDK. The current GTR has always looked overcooked to my eye. It’s just ugly and weird looking.

I’ll never understand you N/A guys. Why would I want the far slower version? It’s not like the turbo models are slow when out of boost.

Whoo that’s a pricey cup holder with the U-joint extension!!! However, it looks to be a solid fix. I can mount a bar downwards from inner corner of the parking brake bump out. It’ll be heavy but it should work well.

I’ve never progressed past the cup holder from the parking brake lever stage and I hate it every time I park.

Weird, that is exactly the same metaphor I was using. LOVE the A-10!
