I’ve always wanted to like this album but I miss the guys as a band. The quality of each album release flows downward as the 90's lineup decreases one by one.

This is correct. I’m in the Celica/MR2 world but I’m adjacent enough to share parts and a bit of knowledge.

I fucking hate Michael Bay so much.

I don’t know but I find the presence of both filler doors to be the most disturbing part.

I bet you get invited to all the parties.

I’ve been a Celica owner my whole life. I’ve owned 7 of them, about half of them turbocharged 6th generation models. Why wouldn’t Millen’s version be my favorite?

What it is is frankly HIDEOUS. Terrible looking car.

Not even close

I think Adam Carolla owns all of those PN Z cars now. If you go by his warehouse he will give you a tour and let you sit in it.

OK OK - we all know you considered the US late to a war that didn’t need to involve us. You guys are like a broken record with that shit. At least you had lend-lease - we didn’t exactly leave you in the cold.

My grandfather fought in the Pacific and was nearly killed by a Kamikaze direct hit (The plane burst into flame and hit the water directly in front of his AA gun). Despite this, he went home, got a great job as one of Texaco’s head corporate lawyers and eventually bought a Toyota 2000GT, (2) Celica GTs and a Supra.

It was not over $100k when it came out. Not even close.

The MR2 had none of those issues and the Turbo 2nd Gen was proven to be faster than the contemporary Ferrari 355 and the original NSX.

That’s the most pathetic thing I’ve ever heard a man say. Right up there with sleeping on the couch.

There are period test videos that proved the MR2 Turbo was faster than the NSX.

L7? On purpose?!?

That and you’re already down a few HP due to the lowered compression but in the case of my car, you can own a perfectly legit 168HP MR2 and it’s great to drive with a great engine. OR you can get one with slightly lowered compression and a huge restriction in the exhaust (~150HP) that suddenly wakes up at 2500RPM with

Turbos DO NOT slow throttle response. You just get an extra 50-100HP after an extremely brief lag time. I think what you said is what people who never drive properly setup turbo sports cars think but it’s not true.

Well, at least everyone else seems to get it. It’s not like it’s a difficult concept.
