looking back at the season or at least the Ireland arc, im seeing a metatext appear as they threw Charlies dad off the cliff. Forspoken is 70 on steam and epic. no one is saying a word.

Looking back on the opening level I began to think “this is kinda simple and feels old. Feels like old Halo. sure hope the game is going to open up at some point” and it does. but im not sure how this Halo by way of Far Cry really feels.

I only dont use the GOG galaxy because it doesnt differentiate the games on gamepass PC and XBOX. some stuff is exclusive to Xbox and it just clutters the whole thing.

I find the best resolution to this fiasco is to fully ignore it. Certainly makes the game wholly better. Its almost as if this stuff is purely tacked on for monetary gain.

This game makes me swear and laugh at the same time more than any MP game has in a good long while. Something about Halo just brings joy when done right.

Im seeing this as an odd retro effect...a “sequel” comes out, over-complicates or just plain misses the mark on what already works and then the player base goes back and just plays the originator....
