That was great.

It really is as good as I was hoping! the weird thing is that online , no one I’ve seen in either the SNW or Lower Decks camps had a bad word to say about it* which is AMAZING , that never happens with trek fans , usually someone will grumble about something.

This episode was great. I had a really fun time watching it, and Quaid especially is amazing - he makes the transition from voice-acting as Boimler to portraying a compelling live-action version of him seamlessly, and has great on-screen chemistry with basically everyone in the SNW cast. 

THAT. WAS. AWESOME.

Lower decks makes so much sense now when we know everyone is drunk.

One of the best episodes of Star Trek I have ever seen, They even redid the SNW intro in the LD style, and added little references here and there.

Tron- yes!

I think the biggest enemy of the film is probably Zack Snyder.

A sentient program makes it out to the real world?  That’s literally the end of Legacy.  They’re replacing Olivia Wilde with Jared fucking Leto?  Is that what Disney thinks Tron needs, some fucking Morbin’ Time?  JFC.

Plus Cillian Murphy, the guy they set up in Tron: Legacy as the next big bad, is starring in one of the biggest movies of 2023 and will likely get an Oscar nom out of it... and is nowhere to be seen here.

Jared Leto? How is this man still getting cast? Has he been in *anything* good? Has *he* been good in anything?

I mean, I liked him as Angel Face in Fight Club, but that’s exclusively because Edward Norton beats his face to a bloody pulp in a scene that becomes intentionally disturbing in its level of violence, but…

Well, it’s Texas, so any laws and regulations beyond “can you hold a gun?” would help.

It’s strange! As everyone knows, guns are magically-enchanted objects and can only be used by the pure of heart! And yet, this woman was able to use a gun to commit a wrong? That shouldn’t be possible!

Somebody needs to explain how a "good guy with a gun" could have prevented this.

Not mentioned in this story: Copas is from Kentucky, so she was presumably unaware that El Paso is a border town and signs for Juarez just mean that you’re in El Paso, not that you’re on the way to have your 48-year-old organs harvested, or whatever nonsense she inhaled from cable news.
