I had the same reaction - but the article someone else posted below is exactly right...when I hit this scene I stopped and recalibrated my TV and was shocked to discover these scenes were not pitch black! I just had some contrast issues. I think in my case I had the “picture” setting too low and adjusting it revealed

yes, I agree.  They also had a recent episode where a lot of it was shot in a rain storm, and I could hardly tell what was going on.  I keep praying for a sunny scene just so I can tell what is going on.  Otherwise, like the show.

I like mine but it is more of a prop and conversation piece than a good Nerf blaster. My 7yo thinks it is “sick” though and loves the sound effects. It took a really long time to be finally delivered and there was a disappointment with premature shipping confirmation email too. Recently I’ve got Modulus Ghost and I

For a $100 gizmo, I would remove the batteries when not in use because batteries can sulfate. Duracells have been legendary in our house for damaging/destroying electronics. Those 7/11 batteries aren’t Duracells, but they try to look like them!

It’s basically impossible not to, unless episodes start running in reverse.

I pretend they don’t exist because they’re not very good.

I bounced off of FFTA, and I don’t think it was just because of the kiddy aesthetic. It’s also just mechanically different in a lot of ways that some folks don’t enjoy. Also after going back to it a few weeks ago, I’m not a fan of the interface.

I mean , it was 50% flashback content 5% intro to the trailer (why?!?!) and 1% Playstation ad

I assure you it was 100% real (and pretty good) , possibly if it had been set in the US instead of Britain it would have been more noticeable on Netflix over there (in America)

Hey you know that Netflix show that you’ve never even heard of because Netflix has done zero marketing?

Had to google the numbers but: $405 million on a budget of $170 million, for an IP adaptation that didn’t exactly win over newbies and anime fans alike? I’d say more chance of my election to God-Emperor of Earth than an Alita sequel getting greenlit.

Rookie moves for rookie players, Doc.

I hit Splash twice on my last visit in October. Most of the ride is wonderful tease leading up to the big finale. I adore it, I will miss it. But I’m glad they’re finally getting this done. The Disney Parks thrive on a balance between nostalgia and innovation and they’ve been very slow-moving with innovation.

Cue the freakout from the Neo-Confederate slavery apologists. They should be squealing “Go Woke, Go Broke” any minute now. Most of them have never seen “Song of the South”, but they somehow KNOW that it was good because it glorified the confederacy, somehow.

Congrats on missing the point again - I literally said that in my comment that if that’s the *point* of the story that’s different. However, that’s not the reason they gave.

Congrats on missing the point

Probably riiiiiight around the mass genocide in FFVI.
