I just caught up with this show. Really liking it. I was wondering how they did the voice, then I saw Jack Kilmer’s voice in the credits and put it together. Not sure why they added AI into the mix. Seems unnecessary, but whatever.

Terminator: Dark Fate doesn’t work because it brought absolutely nothing new to the table. It was a fine enough movie with good performances and serviceable action with a bit too much CGI. It was just a bland retread of The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day with a few bits from later, lesser instalments

Cavill brought all the charm and grace of a dry sponge that was also a serial killer to role so good.

Final Fantasy Tactics ran so that Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced could fall flat on its face.

Netflix canceled shows are just starting to feel made up on the spot now. Like I’m gonna go to Netflix and try to find this show and it doesn’t exist. This article is just trying to prove a point right? That you can just make up a netflix show with some stock photos and we can’t tell if it was ever really a show or

Honestly? This is legitimately the first thing I’ve been interested in about Avatar 2: Wetness is the Essence of Water since it was announced. The Weeknd makes so amazing music and he’s an entertaining persona.

Just looked up the director. He didn’t do the new Texas Chainsaw, but did direct Don’t Breathe and the Evil Dead rebootquel thing. Either way that’s still a hard pass for me. None of those movies were particularly watchable.

3D animation making this a hard pass for me even before the lack of Millie

I haven’t rewatched the prior seasons but doesn’t Mariner say she’s a “Kirk type” and Boimler is a “Picard type” in season 1 or 2? I feel like if they don’t just say it at out loud they say something cllose enough to that.

I miss the early days of DVD when discs (or secondary discs) were packed with features.

The best villain the MCU has had this far - Tony Stark / Iron Man.

Kevin Feige coming out on stage and saying they’re bringing the Multiverse and “King Thanos” to Avengers Campus and getting almost NO response might have been the best part of the parks presentation.

Disney remembered the Tron IP exists!

Maybe because I am a Resident Evil fan, but there seemed to be an endless amount of discussion of the show for weeks up until it came out, so I guess I never realized there was no marketing? I think the core issue here was that the show was terrible. It didn’t rope in the fans of the series and it aimed at teen drama

I get the hope, but I kept monitoring the situation for years. Unfortunately, from what I understood, most of that game was server side. It just won’t run without the Gazillion servers. Severs that were scrubbed and sold off, along with all the assets of the company, when Gazillion folded.

I mean Marvel Heroes basically was X-Men Legends. By the time it finished it had more playable X-Men characters than the Legends games and a more robust and well rounded progression system. Marvel Heroes was pretty much the dream game for anyone that had X-Men Legends in the mid aughts.

I just want Marvel Heroes back. I could indefinitely play that game forever like people still play Diablo II. It had everything I wanted from a Marvel game and up until its death was regularly releasing heroes.

They’re throwing away completed movies, entire swaths of the WB catalog and generally making the service as unappealing as they possible can because content isn’t making up the debt. Shitty accounting laws, tax write offs and shedding employees they don’t need anymore to make one platform as opposed to two is how

From what I understood HBO Max is being shut down by 2023.

Presumably this is the goal. Devalue the service and jettison users
