Was kind hoping for a Korean remake of Tenet, but this time all the forward parts go backwards and all the backwards parts go forwards.

Thought that was Fatal Attraction Professor Xavier with the exoskeleton bodysuit in the header.
I mean considering how on the nose this movie is and how people are still confused what it’s about, it’s good way to explain what a movie is about to someone. Overall yeah, people not wanting to think is a bad thing.
This movie is very “I know writers who’ve used subtext and they’re all cowards”
I’ve had to re-read this article like five times I kept getting distracted by Caity Lotz.
Nightcrawler and Juggernaut are my absolutely favorite comic characters. I’m so glad they’re back together on an X-team and it’s written by someone who can actually write and not, you know, Chuck Austen.
Thor 4: Thor for Four More is pretty much the only thin on my docket.
I found Spider-Man to be the slog and Matrix to be fun. To each their own.
You seem healthy and well adjusted....
Outside of Zoe Kravitz in a cat suit? Yes. The latest trailer just kept making me think of Nolan’s films more and more with each scene.
Definitely a really interesting angle. Would have loved to see that.
I’ve watched every Godzilla movie many, many times over the last 30 years.
You know I’ll agree that this is probably the way it is intended to interpreted. It’s just weird to walk back Smith being, well, an unwavering genocidal fascist whose endgame is the destruction of all sentience because he’s having nihilistic meltdown to someone who is kinda chummy with Neo - the guy responsible for…
That’s the point...
One of the few elements of the movie I’m not 100% sold on is Smith’s return. It felt out of place in the sea of great ideas the movie had. They don’t really do enough with the character and Groff, despite doing the absolute best he could with the material, just wasn’t quite nailing the nihilistic, fascist insanity…
He’s gonna fight Neo? Awesome.
I hope so. I will say I overall liked it, but it’s imperfect. Liking the two 2003 sequels is a good litmus test for whether or not you should watch this movie in the first place, but it’s not a guarantee you’ll love it.
You’re right. I’m also sure there will be some people who hated the last 2 movies will find appreciation for this. Still I think whether or not you liked the sequels is a better indicator of whether or not you should attempt watching this movie or skip it. At least better than openly stating “this is the one you’ve…
The headline for this review is not a great litmus test for whether or not this is the Matrix sequel you’ve been waiting for. A really simple way to figure out if it is as yourself the question “Did I like the 2003 sequels?” If the answer is yes, then yes this is the sequel you were waiting for (though personally I…
Exactly that. Germain’s headline is not a great assessment of the film and comes with a huge caveat. If you loved the sequels, yes, this movie is 100% for you. If you did not care or did not see the sequels? Avoid this movie entirely.
