I’ll say this about Terminator: Dark Fate. If the four other movies and the TV show that came out after The Terminator never existed, it probably would have been kinda awesome! But it is unfortunately very paint by numbers at this point in the franchise. The characters were dull and done before, the action wasn’t

Burke acts in his own interest. He simply gambles on Ripley not being crazy when everyone else thinks she is and has the colonists check a grid reference. He’s also dead by the final act, so you know, not really a character with a lot of staying power in the story. At that point of Aliens the central theme is about

Except it’s a bad take. One that doesn’t really understand most of the Alien franchise. There are shitty humans in the franchise, but not until the second movie and there isn’t even really a principle human villain until the fourth film and that movie is a total mess.

Has it aired anything since then? I love this show, but following the schedule of cartoons is always a hassle.

I absolutely adore FF12 and have played it many times. I got no such feelings of 12 from this 16 trailer outside of 12 took the genre a tad more serious - it had tons of charm (except Vaan. Vaan is the worst). There’s no charm here.

The negative twitter reactions were extremely weird to me. People seemed so angry that this existed in D&D, a game that is filled with just wall-to-wall weirdness. A character in a wheelchair who is able to fight a dragon, or traverse bizarre magical terrain, is by far one of the more tame concepts at this point in my

Absolutely fantastic vision for these characters.

In Marvel Heroes (a game I deeply miss) the devs would say that the heroes didn’t kill and left it to the players to figure out how/why Punisher, War Machine and Winter Solider weren’t killing people with guns/knives, but it was for the best. I always took umbrage with Nightcrawler receiving a power called “Death Blow

Haven’t they recently walked off together without Jean?

It would be a terrible shame if the creators and the audience didn’t get to explore more of this show. The deep themes, emotional complexity and whimsical, if not sometimes downright scary, imagery blend together perfectly in the more imaginative and hard hitting kids show I can think of since Avatar The Last Airbender

“I’m giving the franchise back to the original fans from the 15th century”

There’s a joke about dying from a virus in here too.

The “Revised Ranger” evolved into the “class feature variant” system that was released as UA sometime around Nov/Dec of last year in which all classes saw optional features they could take at various levels and there were a good deal of optional replacement features for the ranger in particular. According the

Yes. That came and went already. It ran between 2016 - 2019. Granted if you factor the time dilation we’ve been in since 2016 it actually ended.... 17 years ago.

“What if the Powerpuff Girls were sorta fascists and fascism was sorta awesome?” -Zack Snyder

As others have pointed out and I feel I should chime in - every, single, month Dragon magazine had new material for 4E for years. Every month new powers, feats, backgrounds, items. Even a couple new classes (variations of Executioner). You name it. That wasn’t even counting books. By this time in 4E’s lifespan it was

I’m so excited for this. Some of the UA playtest material has been really awesome over the last year or so. Lot’s of goodies for players/DMs alike. Really hoping the Armorer subclass for the artificer goes in. It’s basically “magical Iron Man” and has been really rad in playtest.

Well seeing as how the DCEU was already kicked to the curb and kicked while it was down, might as well kick it off....again. Remember when Phil Lord and Chris Miller were on this project? I want to go back check’s notes 2015? With a 2018 release date? Really? I need a bourbon..

The ending of the 5th episode was not an easy one to watch. The show in general tackles some heavy themes, but the cruelty and maliciousness of the Apex members is a harder to watch than the prior seasons’ serious subject matter. Actually because of season 2's themes of personhood it makes the cruelty this season

Thank you! The Old Guard was such a clunky movie with no good characters. Everyone was interchangeable! The action had so much sloppy direction and editing. I think people are so deprived of action blockbusters lately they’re praising that mess.
